Quarry Quarry QuarryQuarry Quarry Quarry

I'm just saying, people who think this is a boost to map sulphite, are just being downright silly.

well it's a boost to maps, AND bringing the cost of coresponding delves more in line with other areas.

Any word on when the patch would arrive? What is the latest in a day they ever arrive? I know page updates show up for another 4-5 hours.

It will really depend on the cost increases. If they double sulphite but only increase costs by 50% that is a net gain. If they double both, well, I get to enjoy some outside time for the next couple of months. :)

They are simply increasing the sulphite costs and sulphite gains. I'm not sure if people here can't do math, but the changes would easily put quarry out by making everything cost 10-100x more.

Currently, it's like 1 map (600 sulphite) = 3 delves (600)

All, they do is increase the costs, (600,000 sulphite) per map = 3 delves (600,000).

Quarry is dead. Try farming when you only get 32 per node. Sulphite increases, and the newbs think they actually farm less when nothing changes to their map gains.

Did you forget about the part where the sulphite cost to delve gets capped?

It's capped at DEPTH 1000. Because obviously T16 maps aren't gonna be able to keep up the costs if it keeps exponentially increasing.

By then, it'll probably take you 2-5 T16 maps per delve node, that anyone attempting to delve deeper would just quit the grind.

They have said that we will gain more sulphite in maps, and that map quant will increase the gain, and they have also said that they will increase the sulphite cost to delve. BUT, they have not said that they will increase the sulphite cost so that it will be equal to before. I'm pretty sure that if you are doing high tier maps, especially with good quantity, you will be able to delve more per map than before the patch. Anything elese will be a dissapointment.
Yeah, I'm not optimistic, but we'll see when the data comes in.

Right now it takes my unoptimized for raw speed heiro about 40 min to go from 0-5k sulphite in Quarry. That's an act 9 area with no cost to run. I really hope I don't have to run T15s and 16s to keep that pace. I would hope GGG makes T15 and T16 even better than current Quarry in terms of time spent not delving to delving. Hell even T13 and 14 should be better imo.

I would like to see T12ish be on par with the current Quarry for time spent mapping vs delving.

/sigh. Patch notes would seem to be on your side. So fucking disappointed.

You now find a lot more Sulphite in maps (especially higher maps) but the cost of travel within deep Delves has been increased proportionally also.

HAHA, yeah, assumed as much. Too many idiots actually thought it'd get better.

A shame they are taking this road. I refuse to do quarry, but I also refuse to run a gazillion standard maps to get some premium time in Delve. Oh well, guess I won't be coming back this league.
You quarry much, bro?
