Trade system in PoE definitely needs a balance pass. But asking for an Auction House is the wrong way of asking. "Auction & House" - 2 very bad choices of words. It assumes bidding is going to be involved - and that wouldn't be a good thing.

Instead, we should be asking for a way to trade offline with fixed prices & with some restrictions in place - to keep economy from spinning out of control. An offline trading market, if you will (no bids). There has been already many suggestions on that front, GGG can build on them and present something in the future - sooner rather than later.

I know it is not easy but, spending 20 minutes in trade just to buy a leveling unique with 1 chaos, but ending been ignored by the sellers - who are online & have a fixed price, is deducting from the PoE experience as a whole.

You want easier trade. That is in direct contravention of a basic purpose of the current trade system.

Come up with a solution that makes trade easier, but will not increase the amount of trading, and I'm sure GGG will listen...

Let me whine while site trade is dead again. Just like yesterday. And the day before yesterday. And dead for everyone except bots, I guess. It takes a whole freaking evening to buy one item if you using live search because it is either site is dead or bots are faster (I have two monitors, 16ms latency and whispering about new reasonably priced item can't be done faster).

We need some fix for that. Current trade system almost forces me to register a new account, buy currency tab and start currency flipping with bot. Then it is possible to sell some exalts to those sites for real money to return currency tab and bot cost, I guess. Profit? To me it really looks that simple.

And one more idea I have: make a vending machine. There will be no auction house because GGG wants to sell hideout decorations, and there will be much less interest in them if no one will see them except an owner. Make a vending machine so everyone can go to seller's hideout and buy "buyout" items from his public tabs without being ignored hundred times by all of those fake, dumping, afk, lazy, busy sellers. Portals will be accessable only in party.

And there can be same copy-on-site paste-in-game link that will check if item is still available and teleport buyer to seller's hideout. If there will be some jerks who will block a vending machine, then buyer can be teleported right to it and be able to tp back to his own hideout from it.

Make an "vending machine contest": talented players will give dozens of cool ideas for various VM microtransactions. Like a big money tree with goods at the base of the trunk, black slime pipes with gold coins flowing with it, titty nymph and alike, huge golden safe, big pneumatic mail that will deliver goods to buyer, helicopter drop, all kinds of alive entities and so on. And one simple ugly free for all vending machine.
