Do most people get stuck at T10 maps?

I've run about 3 dozen yellow Chateau maps trying to get a Perandus Manor unique map. Anyone know the approximate odds for getting a connected map drop?

im not sure if unique maps apply to this rule, honestly. it would be pretty sweet if it did though

As far as I know, Perandus Manor can only be purchased from Cadiro. It does not drop.

I'd be most happy if they changed that, but they haven't I think?
other than the div card The Mayor

Perandus Manor is listed as one of the options in the unique maps challenge. Ergo, it must be possible to get it in the league.

Zana does not offer a Perandus mod from the map device. Is there an encounter in the Azurite Mines that contains Cadiro Perandus? I've yet to see any kind of Perandus encounter, but it could be deeper down (I've only made it to depth 100). If Cadiro does not appear in the league, then the map must be able to drop from somewhere or be chanced from its base type.

Edit: the divination card option didn't occur to me. If that's the only way to obtain the map, you'll have to farm Ivory Temple.

That might explain some things. :-)

although the PoE wiki says
"
The Perandus Manor, the current drop enabled variant that was introduced in War for the Atlas.

https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/The_Perandus_Manor

That can't be looked at as definitive proof or anything though. I'd hope that GGG would have changed it since Cadiro wasn't added to the core game, but who knows?

That's a good idea I wish I'd thought of earlier. Although with the shaper option with Zana now, it's not such a waste running them anymore.

like Mustard said there's a div card for perandus manor. POE wiki says it drops in ivory temple.

I see it on the PoE wiki. It's missing from my div card stash tab, probably just a bug/oversight.

I simply loathe buying maps and am overly stubborn about it.

this isn't the games failure then, now is it

if you don't want to buy maps, then you can use zana's mods to aid in your search. AKA run a tier 5 and add 5 lvls, if you've already completed some 9s and 10s then they can drop.

you can also run all of your 9s and 10s but change maps with the 1c zana mod. keep in mind at this point its cheaper and faster just to buy the map you want.

to grind a map you need, you need to continually run maps that are connected to it in the atlas, and it CAN eventually drop for you

If I'm having fun and making progress and suddenly feel like the game is tedious, that's a design issue for people like myself. And given how many people bail early in the atlas, I don't tit's a small number. the longer they keep people immersed and enjoying the game, the more money they are likely to make
They should definitely change how maps are traded. I was trying to buy summit for 5c, not the first price fixing offers but the normal price put on by dozens of people. I still had to whisper 5+ of them before someone agreed to sell the map to me. Now imagine doing this again and again.

No, thanks, trading maps is more awful than normal trading and normal trading is already plenty awful.
