If Delve becomes permanent - should they consider removing sulphite?
" Horrid idea. Brings back nightmare farmville memories. |

I think sulphite should stay and should be from maps only.
Restrict how far you can delve depending on what acts you've completed. Up to a max of lvl 59 mobs (no chaos orb farming) and no sulphite needed. After you kill Kitava and enter maps open delves for monsters >59 and require sulphite from maps at that point; just make the sulphite gains larger. |

" Farmvilles a grind/tiemwaster simulator time gates aren't a problem, monetizing a way of skipping them is a problem. Functionally the league already functions like this the mechanics almost always do with the exception that fast builds get a better end of the stick to slow builds. It'd probably end up with too many problems to be implemented like that anyway as a small group of players will scum literally any system so by the time you've made it scumproof it'd be easier to just spawn niko next to the portal and make you click on it anyway :p |

Make the piles grant a reasonable % of your max rather than a fixed value, and have that % modified by the difference between your level and the area level. I'd recommend the formula (33% + area level - max(area level, character level)).

League exists less than a week, it is too early to have any plans about delving in standard.
retired from forum because of censorship and discrimination

" No. trickle feeding gameplay via timegates should be locked away in the mobile world never to escape. |

"Time gating in general is always a horrible idea. I think sulphite shouldn't start appearing until maps, adjust the mine to have depth 1 or whatever start with lvl 68 mobs, and keep the amount of sulphite spawning the same, or barely decrease the spawn rate of it. Its a nice break from mapping and I think it should be a main staple of the game going forward #58, chosen by the RNG Gods to test Closed Beta for the Awakening Last edited by BillNyetheSpy#7106 on Sep 6, 2018, 11:31:10 AM

The whole "wait X hours of real time" really pisses me off. Just shut the game down. MAYBE come back to it. It's a sure way to get rid of some players. Anyone looking for any excuse to quit playing will find it in those X hours.

all i know is what can't happen is the typically added to league at 10% spawn chance like everything else. you wouldn't get enough sulphite to do anything in delve at that amount.
what is the answer? i have no idea, but i know that isn't the answer. |

" Then why are you playing? they trickle feed you literally everything in PoE you can't farm 700 sulphite, red beasts, incursions, breaches, abysses, etc in one zone. I can't stay in the delve because I have to go out and collect sulphite which is limited at one/map (pretty much) Like I get the dislike of timed mechanics if they make you feel you have to be logged on not playing to earn it but thats because the systems are lazy and poorly designed, there isn't any difference between me currently getting 500 sulphite an hour and setting me to get 500 sulphite an hour. Normalizing it just punishes fast builds and rewards (comparatively) slow ones but the current system does the same but the other way round. The idea that its a mile away from where we currently are is false though GGG have and will continue to gate every mechanic behind time, and if your really lucky they will throw some RNG in as well! Like personally I think you should be able to delve as much as you want in the future but I don't want Niko to be on every map either, they could make him 10x rarer but give 10x the sulphite i guess which would be Ok too.
