New Unique Map: Doryani's Machinarium

I was excited by a post saying new unique map.

Then I watched the video. Excitement died. I'll try it of course, and I hope it's better than it appears to be.

Oh and fuck Pillars of Arun.

I too was super excited both by a new unique map, and by the ability to make choices to change the encounter and rewards, but escort missions, does anyone actually like them?

Let me fix the map for your GGG!

Step 1: Remove the escort parts of the map
Step 2: Trigger monster spawn and traps when you choose any of the augmentations
Step 3: Switch the boss into Vaal Omnitect
Step 4: Profit

Think there's a lot of good to come with the Delve league, but I gotta give this one a thumbs down for most of the reasons mentioned.

1) This map looks slow and boring. Basically chains the beacon quest.
2) Unique maps have become useful only as map completion bonuses. Their rewards do not equal their cost or anywhere near it most of the time. Basically maps that don't drop currency or cards are not worth doing after the 1st run.
3) The amount of times these things drop is pretty stupid and is a big reason why they cost so much. I don't mind getting tons of copies of cheap/crap unique maps from encroaching darkness. But for how rarely these drop, unique maps are more of a burden than something fun to run.

3 Buttons on each end.
Order of elements from left to right: Lightning - Cold - Fire, if im not mistaken.
Looks like you can stack elements so each arm of the Vaal Oversoul clone could be either fire,cold or lightning.

In the shown video the boss had 2x fire and 1x lightning.

Well well, another map to compete with Pillars for the worst unique map race.

at least make a radius larger or smth,damn :(

gotta be fun to do this with flicker, charged dash etc.

now that i think about it i didnt even run many unique maps this league, at most once some of those.

Nerf those insane EXP unique maps.


by the way is it possible to get to maps on lvl 2? i mean if you get carried through the quests without killing any mobs (so u stay back and let others finish the quests).

Kinda reminds me of the Death and Taxes map, which is great since it's my most favourite map at the moment.
