1 abyssal socket is absolute trash while 2 socket is BiS...
" " No, ventor's have disgraceful/shittie/bad/decent/good/very good/near perfect rolls" (haven't seen a perfect rolled one) and it's all "fixable" with a divine orb. Tombfist can't be fixed with a divine orb, also, tombfist only have "not even worth to pick it up/and absolute Best-In-Slot" versions, which is very, very different & frustrating, if i could simply hide/filter 1 abyssal socket items (that are not the armour ofc) it would be a slight fix to this problem. Another argument i said that people have ignored, is that those items were clearly designed to always be 2 abyssal socket, but then GGG decided to reduce it so it would artificially increase the loot grind; it would've been better if the lich fight was rarer*, if it was way harder, so it's also harder to get the 2 abyssal version, but nope, "let's just cut 1 abyssal socket and leave it to pure-RNG lazyness". Imho 1 socket abyssal gloves/helmet/boots could be deleted when spawned, so this way there would be no more 1 socket versions, thus it wouldn't increase the droprate of the 2 socket version. *The non-lich abyssal depths is also worthless and a waste of time, i never do those, it's clearly a n00btrap unless it's lvl 83+. " I completely disagree with you that the single socket version is throw away. I've run multiple builds where I want to use the gloves but need 3 sockets linked on them. My favorite pair of gloves from last league was actually a corrupted Tombfist with 3 linked white sockets. You are just wrong and jelly, like ACGIFT said. The gloves may be "absolute trash" to you but not everyone agrees with you. You should stop trying to convince us you're right, because you aren't right. You just have an opinion and your opinion isn't jiving with plain facts. Also, this will be my only post here because I doubt you're going to do anything but attack me like you've attacked everyone else who disagreed with you. Just thought you'd like to know someone else disagrees with your position. " Some builds struggle with gem sockets and would prefer 1-socket tombfist rather than 2-socket in order to get a 3L instead of 2L. |

" No they weren't necessarily. Prismatic Eclipse has 4 different bonuses (like tombfist has 2, not stackable but still), should we assume that it has been designed to have 4 sockets ? Or can we stop making baseless claims and throwing them as arguments ? No, no, no and freaking NO to making Lich rarers and 1 socket items disappear, stop with those terrible suggestions plz. " Then don't use tombfist, there are plenty of rare items that will be way way way better than a 1 socket tombifst, also they will have 4 socket for a sweet 4l, even 5l depending on the case. Buff life on the right side of the tree! Just a little! Pretty Please!

"Right, a pair of gloves that gives 10% MORE global damage with hits, what a shit item right ? The power difference beteen 1 socket and 2 sockets tombfist is nothing extraordinary, btw. It's a nice bonus if you don't need the extra socket, but that's pretty much it. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading. " Oh yes, please show me what rare gloves would be able to "way way better" (I'm lowering the goal posts for you, by removing a "way" from the criteria. You can thank me later!) than a pair of gloves that grants a de facto "10% more damage" bonus? Certainly, with as much experience you have, you most certainly have MULTIPLE pair of such gloves. Guys, stop! He's clearly trolling. Not one singular human being's mind could possibly be as relinquished by savvy and common (PoE) sense to create such a thread and then defend their opinion in such a ridiculous fashion with nonsensical arguments and such severe lack of game knowledge.
You played us all, sir. To you I tip my fedora. The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

It seems to me that 1 socket tombfist is completely fine for ele attack builds. 2 socket is nice if Maim does something for you, but that something almost always involves the Maim Support gem and applying an 'increased physical damage taken' debuff to enemies. Of course, nobody gives a shit about that kind of debuff if you don't do physical damage.
A 1s Tombfist has more room for supports for either another 3L or for a glove enchant, if nothing else. |

" You can't be serious? an abyss jewel can have like, 50 hitpoints, about 70-80 FLAT elemental dps (it's literally 70-80% of a herald or ice of lightning level 21) PLUS another stat, if you are MOM, then it can have 50 mana, if not, 5 attack speed, 8 attack speed on crit, 12 global critical strike multiplier. All that in a single fucking jewel, beats having a 3l any time. " Do you use Path of building? Have you ever compared 10% damage multiplier with, let's say, 15% increased attack speed, 400 accuracy flat? Fyi, 15% attack speed or that 400 accuracy may grant more overall dps depending on your build than 10% more damage. Also, damage is not the only thing that matters.
