Bots will actually lower the prices because the money wont mean anything to the player so they will spend and take huge losses just to get their item with free bot money. Until there is about 1,000 bot players that are each rackin up 20+ hours a day and there is only 10,000 legit players playing 20 minutes a day.
Then you get the auction botters that REALLY F it up |

There is an easy way to spot out a person with an agenda - they most of the time start their posts with insults. :-D
OK let's exchange our points of view. I'll start with mine: Bots gather all sorts of currency and trade them up for exalts, because only exalts are traded on RMT sites. Noone's wasting their time buying chaos for fractions of a cent. Bot banwave comes in, supply of lower currencies stops, as well as the demand for exalts (Botters stop buying when they have nothing to sell). When a major part of the lower currency supply and exalt demand breaks down, the market regulates itself. Sure, this opens the market for market manipulators, because they play a much bigger part in the shrunken economy, but tha ban wave directly caused this to happen. Care to tell me how the ban wave wasn't part of this economy event? |

If an item was listed for lets say, 10 ex, it's calculated value in poe.ninja was something like 1800 chaos. After the chaos price drop, the same item, listed for the same 10 ex, is now worth only 1200 chaos according to poe.ninja, thus resulting in a visible drop, even though the actual market value in exalted orbs hasn't changed. |

Cull them all. Make it very painful for them so that they come back reformed or stay away for good. They are few, but the damage they do is tremendous.
And the pathetic excuses this one guy uses. Eye strain. The audacity to ask for people´s compassion after you´ve got exposed as a cheater. Still playing the victim even after being caught. These guys feel no remorse at all therefore punish them hard and let them regret it after the fact. |
