scammers deserve punishment.

i really think scammers should get punished. because they will keep on doing that. they wont stop doing it because there's no consequence. even if we report them. nothing happens. they were just laughing at our rage because they outsmart a guy like me? is that the right term? im so mad that there's nothing i can do but to let go of it and pretend that nothing happened. doing a challenge sometimes cost time, game currency and effort and they were there doing nothing and waiting for a player to scam.

As much as I agree,things are not going to change after 10years of doing nothing about them.

You're referencing a trust trade, where you're trusting some stranger to do something for you with absolutely no guarantee whatsoever he'll do it. It's not a scam by the rules of the game since there's nothing saying that person has to do something for you, like uber lab or a challenge or whatever. You'd be better off finding a guild or group of people who aren't that interested in cheating you, or just trying again with someone else

It's probably against the ToS for suggesting this but just hop in and spam your VD Poet's Pen for several minutes while their framerate dies and their video card melts. Short of Perandus and setting up those scammers into a mob of porcupines or something just be creative.

I mean, just play Stormcall. That'll kill their hideout framerate.

If you encounter a doufus just have some fun with it. String 'em along. Set up the trade precisely how they wanted but instead of accepting, just go on a coffee break.

I wonder, you agreed with totally strange guy to do something. Then u gave him your money and then this guy didn't do what u agreed on, said bye bye and left? Well friend u have to be less reckless and start to think before doing something. It's a good life lesson if u ask me.

BTW if that kind of "scam" was trully punishable as some might say it should be, well I think whole world's banking system would collapse lol (thats a real scam right there haha). People need to start thinking rather then doing stuff blindly. In any case if ur scam was different please do tell Im dying to know that funny story that drove u to wright this in the first place. ^^

PS: Don't be sad/angry yet, maybe you forgot to ask him *when* he's going to do that stuff for you.. maybe he's going to do your thing later.. maybe this is a big missunderstanding. Or maybe world is a big bad place.. who knows..

yes it is xD i don't scam people myself but yeah if someone is stupid enough to fall for it it's their fault just learn from it and pay a little attention it's not that hard i never been scammed in poe xd
