What kind of NASA supercomputer do I need?

Weird I have very similar specs, except of the the GPU. Im running a 1080ti
I get 60fps at all times running at 4K I dont see any any key!

As has been suggested already: make sure you try Predictive mode before anything.
Lockstep has a rough time keeping up inside the Temple, I've noticed. It runs much better on Predictive for me, even though my ping is pretty stable around 30-35ms. And I do have a Nasa supercomputer so that's not the issue. | |

PC:
Ryzen 5 1600x @ 3.9ghz GTX 1080ti 16GBs DDR4 3200mhz (OC'd) 2 SSDs - 480GB Sata III and 256GB PCI-E PoE is unoptimized. But DX11 is an improvement over the old DX9. I shouldn't ever see a drop below 60, even with crap tons of effects going off, but I can go from 200fps+ and instantly tank down to 40-45fps, just because too much stuff blows up on the screen. Let me put it this way, just to use a comparison. Grim Dawn runs better than PoE does, and they used an engine from 2002 era, that's not very well optimized at all for multi-core processors. The FPS on the high end is lower in Grim Dawn, but overall the FPS is more stable. I don't see extremely massive spikes like I do in PoE, even though Grim Dawn can tank below 60 in certain situations as well. Overall, it's smoother. I've actually worked with NASA computers and they mostly suck. Stuff from like 1970. Magnetic tape for storage. That kind of suck.

" I havent updated the info but: ^ that "30fps in town.. in maps 30fps-80fps on 1080p." is because CPU AND VGA is usage on ~30% If I crank the 4k VGA is at 99% and cpu is ~50-70%, which means the game runs fine! And the fps on 4k is around ~50-80fps and in town ~45-60fps. TL;DR the game refuses to use pc resources properly. I dislike rarity so much im almost quitting poe2. GGG.

turn off post-processing and voila!
They went a bit heavy on the post processing in temples/incursions. The game already likes to bloat your CPU so post-processing shit sure isn't the greatest. (i got an i5 skylake) |

I would highly recommend getting the Alienware Area-51 and make sure it has 1080Ti SLI config for optimal performance.

Lowering shader version trough config helped in the past, but they have disabled it now, even dx9 version runs on 3.0 :)
So there seems to be less blanket stuff to try, in the end the main issues are the engine not optimizing the rendering enough (maximums, lod, dropping objects) and graphics guys giong off the rails with detail, seems like every other patch features "we reduced particles/detail on skill xyz for performance reasons"... |

" You have way better specs than I do and I run easy on 40-60 FPS in solo play anywhere in the game. "Never argue with an idiot. They will take you down to their level and beat you trough experience."

" i5 (don't remember which one, but pretty sure it isn't as good) 16GB DDR3 (I think?) 1060 some ssd No problems. It isn't spec - it is your software. You either lack drivers, have outdated drivers, or some conflicting drivers. Also, check if other software (pesky anti-virus or other stuff working in background) isn't interfering.
