What kind of NASA supercomputer do I need?
|
My setup is:
i7-8700 @ 3.2ghz 16g DDR4 ram GTX 1070 6gb/s SSD drive Yet in the Temple and Incursions, I get 12-17 fps. And somehow, my ping rockets up to 600-900 in there too but as soon as I portal out I go back to 30ms. How is this setup not enough to run this game smoothly? The game's optimization is embarrassing. It took me 45 min to go through the Temple because I'm basically playing a really slow slideshow. Last bumped on Jun 11, 2018, 6:31:03 AM

Your specs are better than mine.
Perhaps your connection is the issue not the PC. edit - spelling ~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums. Last edited by DoubleU#7266 on Jun 4, 2018, 11:30:11 PM

Your specs are world class.
I would suggest hotspottijg off your phone's Mobile data and testing it as it may just be your general internet connection. |

How in the crap is that even possible, I get 60 FPS on a GTX 980 at 1440p and 60 FPS on a 960M at 1080p, maxed out except for anti-aliasing because I can't tell after 2x or some crap like that. Is Nvidia enabling Dynamic Super Resolution? That crap always ruins my FPS

It's your connection.
I have a lower spec, gtx 970, crappy AMD core and 8gb ram on an old ssd. The game runs perfectly fine and I'm always at 60 fps on max and 1080p |

i7 8700k @ 5GHz, 8gb DDR4 2666 ram, GTX 1060 6GB memory
300 FPS or so, on max settings. Is your CPU fan running? Is your CPU overheating and doing thermal throttling? You should not be on such low FPS on such a nice CPU. |
