Could Incursion League be any possibly worse than it is?

This league is infuriating, annoying, unfair, frustrating, and poorly designed.
Some people are getting insanely OP gear and others, like me, are getting nothing. Thus "unfair" in my list of complaints. The incursion portals and temple are REPETITIVE and BORING, hopeless for many build types (ie ones that hit single targets), and very hard to manage in a way that you can get the outcome you hope to get. My portals now are down to 10 seconds - LOL. How I am supposed to kill enough things quickly enough to get the highly rare stone thingy to drop in such a place and with enough time left to get it into a tunnel gap? Ummm, barely at all. I cannot believe this has been properly tested before release. It beggars belief that testers could have played this for more than a few hours and not pointed out how terrible the basic design is. EDIT: Now that I have levelled up a lot more, they are much easier. So my suggestion is, adjust the incursion for lower levels (like lvls 1-40). This thread has been automatically archived. It could be crashing all the time. Fortunately this patch seems to be technically sound for now.

" I don't think that's a very good analogy. Incursion is like an optional side-part of the road that you don't have to drive on. If your car functions fine (for you) on normal roads, why should it have to be good at racing in the INCY 500? If you don't like this, just don't play this. inb4 it is a git gud issue once again. Haven't got chance to play myself, but given what I've seen on this forum so far I'm 95% sure I'll breeze through these incursions without problem. Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.

Basically, the complaints can be summed down to:
1) too much RNG 2) only high-DPS AoE builds are really late-game viable. Those are, in essence, the two main complaints people have with PoE in general. (Apart from the disconnects. ;)) So... nothing new, I'd say. | |
