Incursion timer too short

Only in act 1, playing a trapper. So far I have not been able to open a passage.
The 2 times I found the stone I had less than 3 sec on the timer with 0% chance to reach the door.
It should be possible to kill an architect and open a door in each incursion without having the most optimal build.
I think the following changes should be made:
- increase initial time, 20 seconds or more
- mob kills should provide more time for each kill, right now it feels like killing mobs barely adds any time
- mark the location of the stone on the map - the location of mob that will drop the stone
- killing an architect should provide a bonus 30 sec
- change stone drop chance to 100% for 1 stone, lower chances for 2+ stones

But I think timer is really small.
Even for damage oriented builds and especially in starting levels timer is just irrelevant.
And this even worse cus of leaguestarters.

It seems just a touch short, but as I got even slightly better gear it got progressively better.

I did manage to open enough doors to get the boss on my first completed temple and got a sweet 112 life (!!!!!!) 3 resist ilvl 14 (lol) item at level 17. The unique drop was a 30% increased AOE belt with no other modifiers so not as good.

So what I am saying is: that gear drop was def worth it.

Edit: 112 life with another +8% life modifier. Sorry, linking item is not working on my iPad for some reason

I also find the timer a little too short and killing mobs (for now) adds so little extra time you barely manage to do few extra step before you get teleported out.
Killing an architect doesn't give so much bonus time.
Let's see what happens after I improve my killing speed...

I'm only level 16 and admitedly trying a raging spirit which takes some time to build up which may be hurting, but I find going back to earlier areas where everything but boss I'm one shotting I don't get enough time to kill everything particularly because it's easy to wall yourself into a corner and have to run back to a populated area. Killing all mobs in starting room and having maybe +3 seconds isn't good.

I said it elsewhere but maybe something closer to Zana for time be better, maybe not 1 second a kill, but killing fast feels like I'm killing all the mobs just to not lose time.

I'm enjoying this and I think it might be fun, but I expect I'm going to have to go back to warchief build untill time is improved because I don't think trying anything but super speed and little wind up is going to be enough.

I agree. Clearspeed nutjobs will laugh, but the core mechanic of a league shouldn't be exclusive to them. I'm not totally incompetent, so I don't expect total failure. That's what I've been getting on my past several incursions. The difficulty in them seems to ramp up much faster than the zones they're in.

For reference, build is a little baby summoner that wants to wear The Baron someday.

+1, too little time makes for a very frustrating experience. As usual, GGG only thinks of speedkilling builds, all others get frustrated.

Suggestion: Maybe skip the need for stones, but only allow us to open one door. It's really annoying to kill as fast as your char can go but still not get a key.

I concur - more time at incursion start would be much better
It's first day so only initial impression - monster density and setup seems OK to keep incursion open later on but the start timer is prohibitive
