No Energy Shield Recharge Under Berserker Rage
I recently played my brains out to build a lvl 89 2h-mace/vaal ground slam/resolute technique/bleed Berzerker reliant on Life/Mana with Mind over matter, and I thought the best way to become tankier at a relatively low cost was to start incorporating energy shield to my armor based build, I thought I was clever... I found the sneakiest ways to get my energy shield to over 800 and build up a huge 2k+ mana pool on top of a respectable 4.8k life pool.
NOT ONCE did it occur to me throughout 89 levels until now that having ANY Rage had prevented me from regenerating my ES even though my life regeneration was so damn high I was regaining life passively with about 30 rage or less. I realized I would have to wait until I lose all Rage to start regenerating my Energy shield... This is so unbelievably frustrating and there's no way to rationalize why it would be fair that the system would behave this way. Hell even when I'm fighting easy mobs and losing life from Rage my ES doesn't even go down... so how does it deserve to be inhibited from going up when I'm not even taking enemy damage?? I feel like all my efforts went down the drain. The guys at GGG have no doubt been aware of this for a while now since the original post was written back in april... How does something so game breaking make it into the game for so long? I started double checking the other ascendancies to see if there was another scenario that would fit with my setup and there are none... Something needs to be done... please? :) |

Hey,
Will the new energy shield recharge change have an effect on this matter? " I mean this could be a small buff to otherwise badly balanced berserker. |
