Infernal Blow improved! What news! :)

Nobody cares about Charged Dash, let's see some changes to Double Strike, Dual Strike, and Cleave, more than just threshold jewels.

I'm happy to see that they're taking a step in the right direction with skill revamps. Hope this time the gems don't get the lightning tendies treatment, where they just get buffed artistically.

A guy on reddit brings up a good point:

I'm not sure if I'm excited or scared about all of that. They seem to get strong and week parts of skills wrong, especially Ice Spear. I've tryed to make it work some time ago (in essence), it had pretty decent clear, but single target dps just was not there. It's hard to hit that small projectile, and it just does not scale well enough, compared to other spells.

The problem with Ice Spear isn't necessarily its ability to clear maps. It's easy to crit cap which makes it fairly easy to do good trash mob clearing. But this post is acting like that's its main issue.

Ice Spear's problems go even further because Frostbolt is better than it in every way. It does more base damage and covers AoE better in two ways: it always pierces and it can get GMP without a damage loss via threshold jewels.

To make Ice Spear competitive with that, well, I think it has to be an entirely new skill. One that works better against single targets and eschews AoE coverage. Because Frostbolt will always beat it at clearing maps. Instead, maybe have Ice Spear act as a single-target companion skill to Frostbolt.

That this is the first example in the post and they got it so wrong is worrying. :\
