GGG losing its touch ? Golden ERA of POE over ?

i do not agree in the slightest, infact, i am kind of insulted about this
I usually do not read popular posts again after i made a comment on it, unless it's one of my own. I wish to have a Black robed Grim Reaper micro set in game one day, grant my wish, GGG
well the "golden age" and "good old days" ended with Perandus, after that a deep downhill and casuals everywhere.

Spoiler
not sure if i miss that or not :/
d:-D*
The game has been steadily improving since 1.00.

The forum crying has been improving as well, as PoE grows in popularity and attracts more players. The sky has been falling for 5+ years now. I believe it will continue to do so in the future.

Bestiary sucks, but it's not the end of the world and the game is still pretty damn good.
You have to be realistic about these things.

"GGG losing its touch?"

Let assume we talk about losing touch with players: GGG are fishing players with profile that fits into such a type of game as PoE. In that regards, in the beginning, GGG was in touch with players to get energy to go further and make game development be paid, gather ideas. Its still their game, their original ideas and game they wanted to play so they created it. Game, their baby, is still much closer to creator/ father :), than players. Lets consider one of sentences Chris in patch notes stated: "..we are not afraid of nerfs.." that implies that they are aware of changing/destroying builds and they bet on players curiosity to explore new content and they want this kind of players. Many players left game because simply there are too many things outside to do than simply stay many years in one place where floor is not stable: game is changing and they have to adapt - and adapt is not reciprocity so they feel not entertained but rather drained. Another example why GGG exactly know what type of players are looking for was when they said: "..for poeple without job, who play PoE 10 hours per day created elder/shaper (?) to be found on one place". Imo ideal player for GGG is studying/working player who come from school/job and play this game, go sleep and repeat or unemployed who lives in PoE universe.

If we talk about touch with game, than I think GGG make really good work as game is still better and better and GGG has game in their hands like never before - graphics, smoothness, content, more bosses, maps.. Imo many of nerfs and changes are done due of technical limitations of todays hardware - more players = more server load = less mobs or less effects per second, less AoE etc.

"Golden ERA of POE over?" - imo no, as game is still great and game 3.x is on its historical maximum and I think is earning more money than before. I believe if somebody thinks game gets worst etc. I think its reflection of how good already is in game, what already achieved and explored, and there he starts to feel some kind of emptyness as game has nothing more to offer but due player played game for so long is not aware of such a thing. They look into monitor and try to get emotion they got but its not coming simply because there is no more to explore and fulfill his curiosity. Adapting was never fun in long run.

If we combine touch with players and touch with game - GGG goal is to provide product they like at first and are happy if players enjoys it - not vice versa. If they going to make game to adapt to players, than it will time for them to move to another project sooner or later and sell game to somebody who will do such a job. If we consider players demands/ideas and feedback: GGG take those suggestions and take what they think is good for their game and what will attract more players of profile they need. That is reason why so many players are leaving and reason why much more players stay. Those who are hooked will stay, new players join this legion.

Forum moderators read tons of nonsense and crap and from time to time pick up golden nuggets: ideas and bugs. Feedback is not imo priority, because people who are on forum usually do not play game as are already tired of it but on other hand, people who play game and are enjoying are in overwhelming majority and usually are focused on things they like and skip what they dont. Of course some of feedback is from people who care, but its rather rare. If you noticed, GGG is reacting mostly to positive things and creating "hype/positive" threads because its way they want to go and do not want to be connected to negative feedback - simply because people with negative attitude are lost to their case anyway.

Poe has been consistently in a better state than it it has been the year before since launch.

Yes some leagues are hits and some are a miss. But they always come trough in the end and work hard for their player base.

So your statement is nonsense.
"Never argue with an idiot. They will take you down to their level and beat you trough experience."
I'm slightly worried, but I have faith in GGG. No cause for panic.

Let's be honest tho, this league makes harbinger or even talisman look like geniuses.

Jeeees man, POE is a great game (which is improving time after time, getting to complicated for new players but thats it)

They made a poopoo with beastiary, I and even you can NOT like it all?! its human nature!

But the most surprising thing is, how can you see in the future?? i am convinced GGG wil come up (again) with something that is the bomb!!! (legacy 2? ;-)

I think the games gone a bit far in the spammy direction currently but i don't think the golden days are over, Breach effectively came outa nowhere so maybe they will do it again with both a fun and challenging league.

Beastcraft has alot going for it underneath the surface, give me 2 weeks with the dev team and it'd rival any of the other leagues (half armchair developer comment half poking fun that 3/4 of the league could be fixed by removing/tweaking shit)
Had a good laugh ^^

PoE isnt perfect and never will be.
This league isnt for me, I dont like it and I think its shit.
That said: GGG can still salvage the league and even if they dont, they still can find a good way to merge it into core game.
Im sure Bestiary is going to be core - they put way too much effort into it to scrap it.

Anyways: One bad league wont kill the game. We´ve had bad leagues before and will have bad leagues in the future.
Let them do their thing and experiment a little.
It´ll be glorious or trash or something in between - but we wont get new interesting content, if we dont allow them to try out new stuff.

If its not for you this time around, yeah well thats too bad.
Suck it up buttercup or skip league.

Nah they fucked up with beastiery but Abyss was good just before that. Some league are good some are bad.

I sat out about 1/3rd of them due to bad. Played 2/3 of them and showed support when good.

Nobody is perfect.
