Eh....another version of sword won't change the fact that if your rampage end before you meet the map boss then the sword is totally trash

My most optimistic reading of this new mod, combined with the topic title, is that the copy will *not* die when rampage ends. If this is true, then by getting rampage and letting it end over and over, you might be able to spawn many permanent dervishes on a single map.
If I'm wrong, the item still sucks. |

" That's the sad truth. Honestly all this weapon should have done, or do, is create an animated copy of itself that follows the player (a'la animate weapon), perhaps only for a duration as mirage archer does. It would use whatever melee attack skill is slotted in the weapon, or cycle through them if there are multiple attack skills, the same way poet's pen does. Without any nerf to attack speed but 30% less damage. The weapon would be unable to gain charges. It's fated version would summon two identical copies. Attack skills in the sword could not be used by the player, but the sword would still be usable (via attack skills in other gear). Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive. Patch Notes 3.19: Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment. |

I think a lot of people forgot a change it got in abys... THE MINIONS HAVE A 25% CHANCE TO GIVE A RAMPAGE KILL STACK UPON HITTING A RARE OR UNIQUE ENEMY WHILE ACTIVE.

" Hmmm well in that case it could work pretty well with 2 of them out on a boss. Faster attacks + multistrike should keep it active on bosses, just need it to not disappear just before getting to the boss! In fact, that should be a line included on the fated version that would actually make it a competitive weapon - 25% chance to get a rampage count on hit. " Wyrmsign at max Endurance charges. But you will have trouble maintaining it if there are no adds in the boss fight. nvm - forgot these are essentially unarmed builds, so no Wyrmsign.
