deadeye's far shot is useless and makes deadeye weak
It won't
Edit: To be more precisely: Far shot from the deadeye ascendancy and far shot from Lioneyes are exactly the same thing, therefore they will not stack whereas the modifier from scion deadeye ascendant will stack with far shot, because its a different modifier Last edited by Sollkomol#0963 on Mar 27, 2018, 4:51:03 AM

Deadeye has become a fantastic class with the huge buffs it's received. So much accuracy that there's no reason to use Lioneye's; far shot's great for playing keep-away with dangerous bosses (does nobody actually make use of ranged characters being, you know, ranged? Even with small distance you're still getting like 5-15% more damage), plus tailwind if you need more speed (since I use QotF I actually skipped this one; found pierce + fast & deadly + endless munitions more useful for Lightning Arrow spread).
I think Ricochet's proving harder to use than theorycrafters initially thought, which is leading to frustration when trying to force Deadeye into a caster niche it's not designed for. But try playing a more straightforward archer with a rare bow. You'll find Deadeye is quite suitable for this purpose. Comparing it to Pathfinder? Well, Pathfinder's just the best for experienced players who know how to abuse flasks. It might remain one of the best ascendancies out there, so calling others "shit" because they don't compare is a failure to recognize where the balance problem originates. Besides, I find flask-obsession to be overly elaborate and boring; there are simply other playstyles out there that shouldn't be dismissed. Elementalist, Saboteur, and Berserker seem to be the classes we should focus on for buffing IMO. We're all in this leaky boat together, people.

" Deadeye is the most powerful and used Ranger ascendency right now. You are the first person I have EVER seen complain about farshot being bad. Pick another ascendency maybe? Or play Pathfinder 0.o its the only decent end-game class anyway |
