i was under the impression teh 10% more modifier for recochet gives you that 10% more buff on the original hit (more if u have other chain sources) diminishing as the number of chains is used up. seems pretty good for me.

Extra damage per chain, oh that's so goddamn useful for bosses where this ascendancy has the most problems with....
Class doesn't need more clear speed, it needs extra DPS for bosses.
maybe you should read that chain notable more clearly.
Yeah, if a boss is by itself, no chain, no more damage multiplier.....

With chain REMAINING. This means the end of the chain has less damage, and the first mob hit takes 10% MORE per chain left (so 10% more) This is a huge buff to chain for the bosses.
So left say you have chain 3 times with support. First mob takes Damage +30% MORE, second takes damage +20% MORE, third mob takes damage + 10% MORE, Last mob takes the base damage.
So this is a 10% more damage buff to the first hit (the boss) on it's own and counters the less modifier on the chain gem for people that want to use it.
