Multi-Boxing. Finally. The facts.

Can't blame people for wanting to hack and bot the shit out of the game I guess?

Some random shows me how "hard" it is by using the most retarded methods known to man to legitimize his claims, I laugh, look at something far more advanced and see how easy it is.

At this point this thread is worth less than the Loot thread. Pure politics and agenda. For the rest of the naive fools, good luck.

I've cheated *nearly ever game i've ever played, this is because the game sucks and it is popular. We definitely should level the playing field though.

And they won't respond.

We had a bigger issue with multiboxing/boosting in the closed beta. Much bigger. So GGG responded by adding level requirements to the various difficulties and, I believe, reducing the experience gained unless you're near each other. That was their response.

They're not going to ban multiboxing. Aint happening. Accounts are free, and what you do with them provided you do not automate is entirely up to you.

This is a huge inconvenience, however, to those of us who want to play the game fairly.

Guess I'd better learn how to multibox, just so that I can keep up and not buy gems all the time...

Not really an argument. It's many people being logical and rational, and saying it's allowed and fair which is just basic facts, while there is 4-5 repetitive morons (People like Deceptionist and Flab) that keep spamming the thread with their pathetic excuse of an argument against multi-boxing.

So far their entire argument comes down to "having a better PC to run more stuff is an unfair advantage". In the past I've compared them to creationists arguing against evolution, stupidity vs facts.

Mods should just close it at this point, and start handing out warnings to these kids that keep crying about it.

They're wrong. No argument here..."

The facts are multi-boxing is allowed, using key repeaters is not, GGG have already nerfed boosting in the past and GGG have said multiple times they are fine with multi-boxing otherwise. They have also said alot that people exploiting the games systems to a certain extent is what they want and is not an unfair advantage, this is one of those things.

And nothing is unfair about this, anyone can do it at any time, players hardware is irrelevant to the game and it's rules. Arguing that having a better PC is an unfair advantage is beyond retarded.

And no, the people arguing against it do not have sound logic. Logic is not subjective either, it's a set way of thinking.

I presume you don't know that key repeaters can be implemented as a hardware-only solution? Just 1 way to do this is with a bit of hardware called a multiplexer. There are other hardware solutions.

In fact in the early days of multi-boxing, the entire setup was implemented as a hardware solution.

Software was created just to make the job easier and more convenient, but it only doing what can already be done in hardware.

Yes, I know about multiplexers, but that doesn't really have anything to do with what I was saying. Whether or not people can use multiplexers to multibox instead of software doesn't change the fact that hardware is irrelevant to a games rules. If it was taken in to account, devs, for example, would be limiting FPS in FPS, so my 60+ FPS in crysis 3 would become 20 to be on the same level as those playing on potato's, or they would be banning the use of mice with more than 3 buttons and hotkeys to change the DPI, etc etc.

ok, I am confused. You said that key repeaters are not allowed, but hardware is irrelevant. I was pointing out that key repeaters can be a hardware solution and therefore also irrelevant. So in fact key repeaters are allowed because they are or can be a hardware only solution.

If you want to bot a game, how about you just play progressquest and watch your character progress with absolutely no input from you? -_-
