Agreed. However looting does not produce a bad mindset in people as multiboxing/loading does.
People and gamers have a really negative stance toward this methods. (as already readable along multiple threads) The looting issue is not as bad publicity as GGG saying hello to all multiboxers.

And thats what most forum readers fear after all. That our beloved game does get hurt!

So D3 scared? yeah. WoW, which has FFAish loot that I know of? They know what its all about. D2 is more FFA than this so they aint scared.

FFA loot keeps me out of high level public groups entirely. The off chance that I lose an exalted orb to some asshole is more of a deterrent then never seeing one drop.

That's 1 tiny step from not playing at all. I can't imagine I am alone in this feeling.

touche....I'm sure multiboxers AND botter had their hands in the economy ruination pot, but I still feel like botters were elbow deep in the mix, while multiboxers might have only had a few fingers in.

I've soloed from day one, with all my builds, and only group up when I desperately need it, like on certain bosses. Never on bandits...I refuse to group on bandits.

I used to 5 box WoW. That is 5 retail copies and 5 monthly subscriptions. Right now I can't recall exactly what is was at that time, but say 15$ a month x 5.

So 75$ a month, every month. Judging from what I know of the multi-boxing community, I am fairly representative.

GGG would be net winners if multi-boxing took off in POE, which it won't by the way because it is a pain to multi-box in POE.

If multiboxers had any effect at all, it was less than 1%.

People running multiple gold farming bots is not the same as multiboxing.
