Ive gotten1 red map to drop to date. I am at about 83/157 on atlas. I have not been trying hard to farm for reds yet i dont have te vaal orbs to keep up with atlas progress on red maps but i have always found it more difficult to advance up in maps especially if i have not opened the map targets yet

Ideally, progression in a game should depend on your skill.
In SC in does not matter anymore due to million DPS builds which can erase Shaper, guardians whatever in a matter of seconds.
So, what GGG can do in this situation?
Of course they will wall your progression with RNG which can be improved only by grind, a lot of grind.

Nope, I don't exploit trading and can never get rich enough to afford such a thing. :P
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Zana should sell higher maps, but not up to t15s, that is just illogical.


Sextant blocking is also an issue IMO, because it makes it so you MUST use a shaped strategy to effectively use sextants and anyone else should just sell them, run 2\3 times the maps to get the same XP and currency back.

Gear progression in end game should be rare, content progression should be accessible based on your game knowledge and ability to do said content.



Right now unless you sextant or trade massively, map progression is a pain in the balls.
