Cut to the root of the problem

I'm talking about shaped vault, sextant blocking shenanigans. The root of the problems is maps are rare.

Make maps common drops and Zana level 8 should sell up to tier 15 maps.

And if you still want to sextant block and run the same map over and over, that's your call. But the fact that I can't play through the mapping system without either buying 50%+ of my maps from players, or meta shape maps is a problem.

maps are common though, you don't need sextants to get returns. you can easily sustain.

How do you purpose all those SSF streamers are doing it? Magic?

Streamers don't represent majority of players. And map drop system is awful for an average solo player.

I'm not a streamer and I dont use sextants yet ive done all content in the game and sustain just fine.

When you say average player do you mean someone who plays 1 hour a day? Seems fine to me if you invest that little time you have a harder time with sustain.

Hey wait a minute. You literally made this up. The only popular streamrs doing SSF are Raiz, Nugi and Karv:

Raiz and Karv are rerolling, their map tabs looked awful last time I checked. Raiz complained all league how he is "unlucky" with map drops. He realized later it wasnt bad RNG, but nerf to droprates. Nugi is using sextants and his map tab still looks kinda bad.

Yes, both map drops and XP are terrible this league. Unsextanted maps have like 20 monsters inside, it's complete dogshit.

Check the SSF ladders, sooooo many people quit both SSF Abyss and SSF HC Abyss.

I_NO is right, as far as my play experience has gone in Abyss League.

Yes, last league was Harbinger League, and we were spoiled with maps in it... but it's not just the difference between having Harbinger Orbs vs not having them; maps are dropping less frequently.

I am gonna +1 here. Either make maps drops higher, or buff sextant drop. I cant sustain red maps at all, no way. I probably need to buy 10+ of them to sustain.

I don't buy maps, do sextant blocking, nor meta shape the atlas. This is mostly because I have no clue how to do it. However, back during the harbinger league, my friend and I were able to sustain maps and progress through the atlas just fine. We made it all the way to red maps without having to buy a thing.

Now I'm struggling to get the maps I need to progress much less kill the elder and his guardians. Abyss definitely nerfed the map drops and it sucks.
