Little dumb question, it is my first HC char so i might ask stupid things.
I am level 17 now, and its first time i play with theese spell ( i'm on XBOX ). I checked your video, basically Bone offering allow you to stand still and tank everythings? Cause on the video i see you cycle trought desecrate, bone offering, desecrate, volatile dead, but not move.. You stand still Do you do this later on? Only when you are geared? Or if i keep desecrate and bone offering i can facetank? |

" You need the Necromancer ascendancy to have Bone Offering affect you instead of only Minions. Also I use the Minor pantheon Soul of Tukohma wich grants me physical damage reduction when I stand still and if you capture the soul of Tahsin you also gain alot of life regeneration while standing still. I don't stand still like that when leveling, I try to cast, move, cast, move etc so I don't get hit. In HC you need to be very careful, take your time and enjoy leveling safely. I have one question : In order of # of socket available for the chest, what would you priorize to buy/use as support skill gems for the main skill? In the leveling section you advice to go for controlled destruction and elemental, but spell echo sounds to be a better choice dps-wise, or maybe i am wrong? Another question : I dont really understand the utility of bone offering, what spell it is usefull for? I keep reading the tooltip but.. Thanks in advance! Up to level 60 or so I rather use Spell Cascade than spell echo.
Order of importance is Volatile Dead - Spell Cascade/Spell Echo - Elemental Focus - Controlled Destruction - Fire Penetration and Concentrated Effect. Bone Offering doesn't make sense until you pick up Necromance Ascendancy and the node Mistress of Sacrifice. Bone Offering gives extra block for your minions, but Mistress of Sacrifice makes offerings also effect you so by using Bone Offering (after getting Necromancer Ascendancy) you also get the block bonus. 3.3 RF Trickster SSF HC guide :

Hi, I tried your build and it awesome :D really like it, and I thought about it alot. And I remembered the Gem Tempest shield which could be a good addition for the build unfortunately it would be a waste to swap out a single gem in the setup for only 3 % Blockrate but: "Blocking refreshes the duration of Tempest Shield." Seems to be nice and I thought maybe swap Bone Offering for Tempest shield, cast it and swap back before the bossfight. Therefore you might be able to sustain 3% of Blockrate :D Because of Increased Duration and a huge base duration of 12seconds + Necromancer Ascendancy another 30% it should be long enough until you block again to refresh the duration. If i reach a higher lvl I will definitely try this out :D The worst that can happen that you waste one slot in your inventory for the skill gem :D

" Ok seems like a bit of a noob :D Tempest shield gets deactivated once you remove the socket, but I put it in an unset ring and it works quite nicely, I never have to recast it. Although the cast time is like non existent :D Plus it procs Elemental Overload sometimes due to the high blockchance :D Making it possible to not need a high lvl Boneoffering to achieve 75% blockrate :D Since I adapted your build a bit and play on softcore I recently bought "The Surrender" and i can not die anymore even if i try hard atleast at low lvl areas (I am currently 68) Edit: I swapped Faster Casting on Unearth Totem for Culling Strike :D Gives a little extra Last edited by viper0815#4039 on Jan 15, 2018, 11:45:11 AM
