I hate people who:

- Ignore you for no reason, when trying to buy their item.

- Changes price all of a sudden.

- Overprice their shit.

- DND on, while they have stuff for sale.

- AFK, while they have stuff for sale.

I agree mostly, but on the flip side, I hate people who PM me 5 times to buy an item while I'm in a map. Don't buyers think to do a /whois? I will rarely leave a map to sell something and rarely have a moment to send a response so I can see the use of dnd here. Constant afk'ers are annoying though. I'll afk if I need to grab some food or take a dump, but it's usually 10m or less.

The least you can do is make some damn time to tell me your in a map. I always respond "Okay, i can wait".

Then, in my experience, you are the exception.

I had some someone a jewel from me on the day after Christmas. It was a quad tab full of abyssal jewels and I accidentally put the wrong one (with identical name) in the window and he says "you good mate?", I corrected the error and he said" yeah I thought so" I replied with "what?" and he said "fuck off".

In the past 12 months I can't recall an instance where I had such a bad transaction.
You hear horror stories on reddit but i had to experience on first hand to appreciate the variety of players poe has.

I had a similar situation, I have a quad tab with all my abyss jewels, and I accidentally sold the wrong one (it had an identical name), I put in the item, he put the money and we both accepted. In a couple minutes, he whispers me and calls me a "fucking scammer", as I sually do I just reply with ?? and he proceeds to say he is gonna report me for scamming and is ignoring me :D

I would have been more than prone to giving him his item, but he did not give me the chance, so meh.

I was trying to imagine this scenario and i try to see it from the others guys point of view. He was trying to buy a jewel and at first you put a different one up - and then afterwards you are like "what?" - "you trying to say something to me?", and then he goes like "fuck off".
I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all.

honestly, I was confused what he was trying to convey. Did he somehow think I was trying to scam him out of 4 measly chaos orbs a day after christmas or I was somehow mocking him?

How horrible of a life must you have to go off on a total stranger for an honest mistake like that.
After that exchange I said "merry xmas" and put him on ignore. I wish I knew what account it was so I could keep putting it on ignore if I someday need to reset my ignore list. Truly one of the most horrible experiences I have had in my 5 long years of playing poe.

Problem people can't differentiate between being a lowball and bargain. If you just say" hey take less currency for that item" you are not negotiating price, you are jsut asking less so expect people to tell you to fk off. So many people trying to snipe items like that.

I bargain a lot without any issues personally.

Same here hell if someone actually tells me ahead of time they would like to make a different offer than my posted price and its reasonable... sure fuck it why not.

Its the ones who ask for the item, except the inv, come to trade, then put 3C in for a 10C item and say oh thats all ive got....
And when you see this shit multiple times a day.. day after day... it starts to get old.

But even still i simply remove from party put the item back up for sale and dont say a word. I dont cuss them, i dont say shit, i let them feel like an idiot and go about my buissness. Theres wrongs being done every single day from BOTH SIDES that makes trading more of a chore than it has to be. The only saving grace is the more trades you do is typically why you end up seeing the bad shit more. Because the vast majority of trades go off no problem. its about 1:10 of trades that some dickhead tris to pull some dumb shit. But theres where being an adult and simply moving on and ignoring the person goes a long way.

Same idea as IRL when someone pisses you off at work for example.. your faced with a choice...
Let that person totally ruin the rest of your day and be pissed off and all tore up about it the rest of the day.. or shrug it off and go about your business. And dont let it get to you. The way you handle things is ultimately up to you but in the end whichever you choose can either be nothing or YOU make it into way more than it really is.
There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation.
The former is Wisdom, the latter is Fear.
