Of course it needs involvement, and that's how a proper "CHASE" unique should always be, not auto-equip and auto-steamroll content.

It's nice that you can constantly improve upon it, and make it END GAME viable.

Of course there are better options, and just like with Headhunter, there might be more and better options, but the important aspect, is that Oni-Goroshi should always "feel FUN". And the previous Godess Unleashed was fun.

Not to mention the sword has one of the coolest possibilities to reskin in the game...

I find this sword to be a great thing. Will be fun to farm it in next league for starter char. It is one of the first items with targeted farming, tedious but great :)

You know I have noticed that alot of mean comments and expert opinions are coming from people who have every tag they can. I wonder if maybe the reason you have so much GEAR it because you paid for it ? either way the fact is this game can not survive on just your donations it takes players and to be frank you people are rude. VERY rude if you have something helpful to say then say it but the rudeness is no necessary and even counter productive.

Charan please don't take my feedback as negative.
I've been collecting your swords for years and this might be the best one yet.
I will farm for it. May RNG have mercy on my soul.

But targeted farming does not necessarily mean rotate some dull zone like a damn bot for a lucky drop.
It can mean beat some hard boss... Like an "Uber Strand Hillock" with extra skills and insane minions at level 1, for a higher chance at dropping it IF you win.
This makes a player like me feel I actually earned it.

halfway through the grind to lvl7, doubts crossed my mind, "this cant be real, its an elaborate trolling-scheme by GGG and a handful of popular players/ streamers to lure stupid and greedy nerds into wasting one day of their lifes on farming the most boring, useless zone in the game"

i thought so because this sword is just too good to be true, its unreal.

a targetable sixlink that is practically guaranteed to drop.
you can farm it on any character in white gear.
its a guaranteed six-link. try to farm up 1,5k fusings. cant do that in a day. (its in some ways even a seven-link, with the 20% incr. as/ ms, only it stacks with onslaught afaik (for mapping) and is granted on ignite, not kill (so it will procc on bosses)....mind blown)
like...what does it take to farm or buy a starforge/ atziris disfavour? and then you still have to sixlink it or pay extra.
and while its sadly not the BiS 2handed weapon in the game, you can at first glance tell its a viable weapon, even lategame.
you can bladeflurry with it, Lol.
you dont farm one item. you rotate characters and farm at least three. so you can corrupt them, sell them, whatever (you complain about being low on currency... look at the freaking price in standard, here is your chance to easily acquire 400 chaos orbs).

4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours playtime are nothing in this game.

you call yourself a "casual". so be thankful for this sword and the method of acquiring it, as anyone can acquire it. in the broader context of this game, this sword is gifted to us.
most of the other really good stuff in this game requires you to "force" rng into your favor by simply sinking time into grinding or is droped by bosses that require keys and strong characters, which, also, take time to build up.


in all honesty:
its attitudes like yours that have ruined certain games.
again, you called yourself a casual.
so why even bother with this game and act entitled on top of it?
like....you know what this game is. you know what kind of player you are, you said it yourself.
nothing wrong with "casuals", i play many games casually myself. but when casuals act entitled and demand that they too get their piece of the cake in games that are obviously designed to reward only the skillful or those willing to mindlessly farm away for ages .....thats audacious, thats acting entitled.

theres a vast varietey of videogames out there, from free to 60$, from casual to elite. anyone can find "his"/ "her" game in todays market.
you made a deliberate choice for PoE. you knew what you were getting into.
there is always blizzards games for those who want the illusion of doing super-hardcore-elite-gaming but ultimately "earn" their legendaries and relics and artefacts and whatnot BiS-million-DpS-gear by afking in a pub-raid for 30 minutes. how satisfying that must feel.

dont get me wrong, let me finish on a positive note:
i wish you the best in PoE or whatever games you play...but in games like this you have to earn it (or just get stupidly lucky), thats just the way it is.
keep farming for your swords, eventually they will drop. and it will feel good and satisfying. even more so once you unleash that sixlink-dps, the hours of fun cruising through the game with this sword will more than make up for the dreary hours spent acquiring it.
