Things i learned farming this sword

1 - To Never do it again, ever

2 - Next league is going to have 100s of day 1 bots farming it

Finally got mine after 8 hours and 18 minutes(/played time total of three characters) of farming. All three character were lvl 7.

Thats 50+ per character, so over 200 total runs and only 1 siting of Uber Hillock.

Yepp, grinding 8h for a tabula is something I on almost all my chars.

Giving another quote for what bSun0000 said. It's a scaling 6 link end game viable level 1 item. Yes, there are builds that can do end game like Shaper with it. See https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2056345 for an example.

Guaranteeing a 6 link means using 1500 fusings with a level 8 Vorici, so halve that for 750 chaos to absolutely ensure you get it. And that's on top of whatever money might be spent on getting the base itself with good mods.

This sword is crazy and even if you have to spend 10 hours to get it, it's still worth it. People farm for longer to get less and it's still worth it.

How my partner and I spent this Christmas Day afternoon - Twilight Stranding to level 7 and now hoping that RNG will be kind and drop Charan's Sword :)

Are people really complaining about being able to farm a 6 link endgame sword in 2-3 days?

Don't let shit like this get to you man. The sword is an excellent rework and is extremely accessible to anyone who cares to farm it. You did great.

Edit; Only 37 cards active on abyss and most of them are 2+ days old along with 16 being on hc abyss all between 2-4 days.

The sword itself has five times the amount listed for trading at the same time compared to the cards.

I'd say that's a pretty obvious issue.

I personally don't find it an issue that you have to chase a chase unique.

EDIT: Honestly, anyone who wants to get their hands on Oni-Goroshi for cheapsies probably just has to wait. 45% of your life per second, with no ability to wear ROTP, means plenty of RIPs, and more RIPs means more ragequits, and when they ragequit, they'll want to throw Her away as soon as they can. Everybody is using the sword they farmed 6-18 hours for right now, but I'm sure when the power players discover how much "better" the alternatives are, they'll give them up in a jiffy.
