SSF players, how's Atlas progression going for you in Abyss league?
i guess i hit a wall today, got some T2 maps, haven´t had a suitable 5link
if i condence the superior gems i´ll probably have enough for upping one to 13% the uniques found haven´t been the ones that suite the build -> decked out all rare lightningressis has some holes, 1 of 2 ascendancy points refuses to regret the prophecy is not in my favour Izzy owes me some promised stuff and i guess i don´t like being underequipped. +VLFBERHT+

Been lucky with Zana's vendor maps - I'm 56/157 completed objectives on the atlas so far.
I've only found 2 uber lab trials after 100+ maps. Pretty irritating but oh well. |

" Wait, what? Harbinger Orbs were a SSF wet dream for filling out the atlas. I've played SSF from the start (so hipster) and Harbinger was the first time I've ever completed all the regular atlas, and with minimal effort at that. Legacy was the land of max drop potential, but even then you were still relying on RNG to fill in those frustrating gaps. I feel you. But there's a reason they pulled those delicious Harb orbs - to MAKE you trade for maps. So I look forward to even more frustrating holes in my Atlas this league. I am slow this league, only dipping into T3 so far. My RNG has decided to fail me on weapons so my general progression has suffered. |

2 maps left, Chim, then shaper. Chim just isn't dropping atm, dont know why, but that side of the atlas is very dry. I had to buy all the maps for the chim/hydra side. Just purchased the hydra map also, going to try a few more times to get the chim map, if not just going to trade for it and finish it. After that it's my old by shaper for some ez axing.
I still dont get what the atlas percent stands for. I'll clear a t14 map, I wont get any t15 or t16 maps, but i'll get a t11 map. If it says i'm guaranteed to get a 1 tier higher map, and i'm at 155 maps complete, why do I not get at least 1 map higher than the map i'm doing? " That % is the chance to get a map 1 tier higher that the actual drop, if possible - e.g in a tier14 map you would get a T11 from a white mob but you'll get a T12 if the roll is lower or equal your atlas bonus; if you'd get a T14 map this cannot roll into T15 since a white mob cannot give you higher maps than the one you're doing; etc... If your atlas bonus exceeds 100, then you have a guaranteed +1 and a chance at a +2, where possible. "Metas rotate all the time, eventually the developers will buff melee"

" When a map drops, it has a percent chance (your completion number) of dropping as one tier higher than it rolls. So if a map drops, it rolls as a T6, and you have 125 maps completed, 75% of the time it will drop as a T7 and the other 25% of the time it will drop as a T8. You end up with higher map drops overall, but you can still get low tier map drops in high tier maps. Also, SSF means "solo self found." There's no trading in SSF leagues, so your experience isn't really relevant to the topic. |

The last league gave a lot of orbs helping with the map progression. It is natural it feels slower now.
This is the normal rate to be honest. And before harbinger league we had legacy which was very fast aswell. So i am pretty sure it is because the last 6 or 9 months we had league mods that made the atlas progression a lot faster. |

It is ok I guess, Im at 55 or something right now. Got few T8 and one or two T9. Still trying to find that bloody map between Lighthouse and Alleyways (Port??), this thing does not drop for me, at all. Horizon Orbs, do come back!
I AM MAD

One thing... don't level up Zana too quickly at first. If you're looking for T4, you should probably keep Zana at level 4 until you can buy it.

I've been playing self-found this League for the first time. Well, not officially. I'm playing exclusively with one friend. He plays a lot less than me though, so I have to rely on my own map drops.
I mostly enjoy this way of playing. I'm not too preoccupied with making currency. I felt like I skipped a big portion of last league because I got geared within days. So I wanted that process to be slower. I'm not sure if I can clear endgame with this approach though, unless I stick to very specific builds though. So I might just cancel it for my second character. I'm not sure yet. The Atlas progress is indeed frustrating. I mean, you progress, but if you get unlucky on one side of the Atlas, it's a real pain to get anywhere on that side. I have the bottom almost on t11but the top is stuck at t2 to t6 |
