The problem with the Democratic Party and the American Left in general is that they have abandoned liberalism and instead split themselves between uniparty globalist neoconservativism (a la Bushbama and Hillary Rodham Felon) and populist "progressive" socialism (a la Bernie Sanders and Jimmy Dore). Some Democrats are too blind to see they've been abandoned, but usually it's old-school evangelocons and/or alt-righters who continue to apply the "liberal" label to the Left. Meanwhile, actual awake liberals, like YouTubers Dave Rubin and Carl Benjamin (and arguably even Milo Yiannopoulos), tend to be more on the Republican side of things these days, as liberal tenets like free speech and free markets have become old-fashioned "conservative" positions. Ironically, I don't think Trump could have won in 2016 were it not for formerly Democratic liberals running from scary progressivism into the welcoming arms of Trump's GOP.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. This is Day 20 without Net Neutrality. I will be posting in this thread every day until all the doom and gloom that the left promised would happen actually does happen. Remember, we were told our internet will now come in packages and we will have to pay every time we dl something or post on a forum. As of today that has not happened. So far they are liars. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

Agreed. The American Left are most akin to communists now. Wish they'd drop the liberal label, what liberal is anti freedom?, and just adopt the commie one, but they are cowards.
