Superior items have quality. Quality on a portal gem improves cast speed.

These gloves seem to be nice for keeping up Elemental Overload without having to invest (too much) into criticals. 800 mana are quickly spent with a caster and with a few power charges you should be able to crit reliably enough to keep up Elemental Overload almost permanently.

Kalisa's Grace = new best in slot for a lot of Whispering Ice builds. Over 100 energy shield and probably up to 30 int? Forget Asenath's Gentle Touch, those gloves are useless now lol.
