its not really a direct payment either way, but stripe is far less intrusive than xsolla

A shame, too, since as it is, hearing this makes me feel bad should I spend money through Steam (which, now that I think of it, how much of a cut DOES GGG suffer through them, anyhow) in spite of how surprisingly good the new packs look. (seriously why does the Seeker stuff look better than the pricier stuff anyhow?)

Xsolla is garbage.

Your loss is the gain of my other hobbies. (I'll probably buy a grainmill for my homebrewery instead of a Redeemer pack)

wanted to get one of the harbinger packs, xsolla only accepted cards with "verified by visa" which i didn't have. was never a problem when ggg used stripe as their payment provider.

getting the verification for my card isn't without risks, they want a fon number to sms you verification codes or even install a app but i don't have a phone that is safe enough for this shit.

glad they're returning to stripe.

regarding "direct payment with paypal", imho paypal is also just a payment provider which also uses stripe or xsolla to transfer money to ggg. you can't directly deal with ggg.

Pretty sure you could, but not without contacting Support first and going through whatever verification process they require. Not sure if they offer that kind of assistance though, but there are possibilities.

it's been possible before they got payment support up on their website in closed beta but i don't think they're risking it now.
