Personally if i would be allowed, technically you´re the boss,
practically GGG´s plans reach behind the shroud,
me would settle for inverting Elemental Status ailments
and take that sweet burning heals, schocking prevents and chilling speeds you up thingy.
Just because inversion is part of this whole crusade against the Solaris way.
I´m not sure how far that whole invert it mechanic can or should reach, for ex. should accuracy be invertable, maybe not without implementing a glancing blow system ??

Resistance penalties from Kitava's Afflication are negated.



So any +resist modifiers you get would become -resist, and any -resist you get would become +resist, outside of Kitava's Afflictions. (changes to max resist would remain the same, not getting inverted).

That's really interesting idea.

Get penalties from Kitava, get pair of really awful Ventors and roll o/

its imposible to build around it, 0 ressist is instant death.

75% elemental ressist builds already get wrecked by ele damage, 50% reduction (25% from fated + 25% from incandecent heart) is still a suicide.

Malachai's Artifice and it's minin-EE (-37.5%) is one of this items. It's pretty strong, but people don't really use it.

It should give more Res, life, damage or something. Or maybe it should rather be reverted to simple nearby enemies have -37% resistances or something along this lines.

All Rarity gear needs fated versions. Wondertrap, Andvarius, Aurseize, etc. etc. Do you even remember that this items exist?

inverted ress for veil of the night sounds nice but would be a nightmare to balance, immortal flesh, maligaros lens and Shackles of the Wretched are a few items that come to mind.

There are other ways to make that higher. Yes with 2 items that stops at only 50%, but there are ways to build around it so it isn't as much of a negative. But that's the point, there's still a penalty.

If you were to take CI, and Incandescent Heart, that becomes a straight 50% reduction to elemental damage. Then you just stack other forms of defense to fill it in. Fortify, reduced elemental damage taken, etc. are ways to push that further. I'm not saying make the item broken, but it wouldn't be suicide if you build properly for it. It would still require investment, not just handed to you on a platter.
