Innocence's damage is just way too brutal.

his attacks are telegraphed, but the damage is indeed too high for that stage in the game.
giving the player no room for error, is too brutal when there are 5 more acts to go. boss balance as a whole seems off in 3.x. some act 6-10 bosses are easier than Act 5 Innocence and Kitava. lightning boss and trio in Act 9 was in my view harder than the boss of that act. Yogul is a fucker punishing you for having 5% off max cold res while most fights in that act don't... even Act 10 fight "Innocence" is easier than the original while Kitava is fkn super-end-game brutality compared to early and even mid-tier map bosses... I appreciate the mechanics. GGG are doing stuff with bosses they pretty much could only dream of ~5 years ago. but the damage and especially its scaling - needs serious rework. make the players feel they are progressing, instead of being hit with random walls every few fights. Just hit this fight blind after being unkillable up to this point.
Died three times instantly, didn't even work out the telegraph as everything was new. Two deaths at the side of the room pinned by what looks like tiny, weak fireballs in undodgable bullet hell formation, nope, 800 damage(?) a hit, no chance. Saw the (single?) statue that can block them once as it spawned next to me in the giant room. Just ate all my enthusiasm for this game, started to read up on Kitava as well, looks shit, don't know whether to bother continuing. Last edited by Pinchyskree#6347 on Dec 14, 2017, 2:21:13 PM

broken bosses eventually get balanced. don't be discouraged by them.
game is just ... not for HC at the moment unless you use a tested, proven tank build instead of creating your own and/or have Streamer reflexes. the mechanics are cool. the damage isn't. Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat

Eventually is too late at this point.
I can't stop thinking about the worst of the act 5 bosses and it's already prevented me from launching since Thursday. |

" Yeah, that works wonderfully until he starts constantly doing two abilities in quick succession with only one of them being telegraphed. I've ripped several times to the bullet hell because there was no "I am your god" warning beforehand. Shit boss design, frankly, but that seems to be all GGG is capable of producing these days. Fairgraves was a slave trafficker specialized in the kidnapping and transport of children. He was not "a good man".

Also the zero chance for first time players to survive.
No buildup with lesser attacks, audio cues are not good enough/sometimes cut out, the room is too big to see the statue, visuals do not match the damage done. It's not one simple thing and all of these were discovered in my first attempt. Compare it with Dominus lifting his fist and shaking it in a well lit area, where there's space to stand and observe. Of course ranged can just ignore that completely anyway and there's no counter from him. |

he is hard
I tend to just go up to town during bullet hell I dont see any any key!

Innocence is just one of the too damn many "challenging if melee, joke if ranged" bosses. On my flame totem templar innocence did less damage to me than an abyss crack.

"Sure ignoring the fact that attacks like his beam are easier to dodge the closer you are to him. But yeah gotta continue that 'everything is anti melee' argument. |
|
" his beam presents minimal danger... hit run flask, win lol bullet hell is the only dangerous move I dont see any any key!
