How good is Brass Dome?

Does anyone actually know how often an enemy crits? It's just 5% right?

probably 5% excluding charges and map mods that have more crit chance and multi is what iwould guess
If anyone's curious, I got my Jugg to lvl 69 and equipped all that stuff I linked, Brass Dome, Red Nightmare, Reckless defense jewels, etc. He was pretty much immortal in story mode. Not even Kitava could actually hit him. Only the DoT did damage. Regular mobs were just helpless. Pretty nice novelty to stop in the middle of burning courts and assign a skill point while twenty mobs kill themselves on your shield, lol.

Maps were a little more dicey. I actually died on the very first map, lol. It was a Channel. Opened a strongbox and my fps stuttered into a PowerPoint presentation for some reason. The box had caustic clouds and the flameblast rogue exile. Rip.

After that I thought fuck it, and jumped straight into a Minotaur map. I was lvl 69 with 3.8K hp, but he actually did kind of okay, lol. He was pretty much immortal against phys mobs, but pretty fragile against others. The map had those caustic grenade throwers from sewers and the puncture demon's from Malachai's place. The bleeds were pretty deadly and so were the chaos clouds. Other than that, though, he was very tanky. Even blue packs of bears couldn't damage him.

Minotaur himself, though, well, I didn't expect to kill him. I was lacking a ton of damage and didn't even have all my mitigation yet. I got him down to about half hp, but couldn't tank him infinitely. Still, for a lvl 69 character, I think he did alright.

All things considered, he'd probably be a pretty decent character with a few more levels, steel rings, uber ascendancy, etc, but I'm kind of not motivated to continue. He's very, very slow and clunky, and the dps is never going to be fantastic, and I'm not sure the drawbacks outweigh the penalties. Fun to try, though.
Hey guys Im on the xbox now but running brass dome with 50k armour, 78% block plus aa and fortify, I basicly walk on traps and laugh at most bosses due to the claw that gives me instant life leech. My current dps on sunder is showing 40k not sure if that the true dps or how it works but I seem to melt everything in umber lab, Ive not gotten a chance to do any of the real end game bosses except hydra where the ads all died easy but I only got hydra to around 50% it was my first and only time fighting her so I wasnt realy prepared for how she moves etc etc but, all in all I gotta say Im in love with brass dome on a gladiator combined with max block and 6200 hp.

The insta leech claw is Bloodseeker, but it doesn't work with Sunder. Sunder only hits with your main hand. Lots of other inconsistencies in your post too. You sound like you're trying to troll, lol.

here is a pure tank who try to taunt all mops for party-play to get full access to go immortal and let the party try to destroy.

use aoe skills to hit as much as possible and as fast as possible to leech back if need.

Max Block Aegis setup, ever fortify, arctic armor, Def Aura if need (51% more armor) or use Resis/Discipline to increase energy shield. IOn that armor you get per block over 800 energy shield back.

Its without MOM, i think its dont need mom, but sounds funny to think about additional mom effects :D (see Helm enchantment), resis could go easy over 80% if need.. 6 endurance charges

Level 100:
6370 maximum Life
40689.84 Armour without everything, (flask, buffs, charges....)

Maybe dropsome def% nodes for shield on tree and use them for other things.. (mom???) :D

Does anyone know if brass dome apply the "no extra damage" when we crit reflect mobs?

I'm not sure if:
- I'd crit a mob for 10k which would be reflected
or
- I'd crit a mob for 2k* 5 crit multi, and brass dome would be able to remove the crit multi part

Sure you can play Hall of Grandmaster with it. E.G. Scorching Ray (no Reflect problems, no block Problems on the enemys) If you need leech scource, add any cast when damage taken skills or switch to e.g. firestorm or some meele skills if needed.
Crits cannot be reflected. What's reflected is the damage of a type, initially multiplied by the critical strike(s).
