400$ for that painting was waaay too much... the quality of that work is very poor, doesnt even look like it was done by a professional

I prefer the original commissioned piece.
Not saying the other efforts are bad, just that the commissioned art has a hand created feel and loose liveliness that the others don't have. The others are stiff and 'cg'. Still fine for first efforts. I'd say continue with your art. There's great potential there. Working for a while in traditional mediums can go a long way in learning fundamentals that can then be translated to digital.
