I got price fixed bad ; ( new player warning
Bought it for 115c. White 6l for 50c seems fair compared to my chest. Doesn't sound like price fixed. Price fixing is something you see with some rare unique items and more uncommon currency exchanges. | |
" WAT?!? I think I sold that. Wasn't it 10C though? Is it really 6-10ex? But why?? |

" blade vortex queen of the forest uber lab speedrunner build comes to mind among others, yes Spreading salt since 2006

^^lol I remember selling it within 30 seconds of listing it too! I hate being that guy that backs out of their listing price cause I hate when others do. And I like to liquidate.
But really compared to divinarius which also cost 10C I thought it was accurate price |

its got multi and attack speed for shield charge is the thing.
Presuming its not an essence cast speed dagger, a bis dagger like the one ventor crafted has.. spell damage spell damage + mana flat damage to spells crit chance for spells crit multiplier attack speed thats your best in slot 6 stats for a generic general purpose spell dagger. Its got 5 of those stats, divinarius has 3 of them. Its not the highest tiers, in fairness aim it could probably do with a couple of divines too, but I think each stat ups the price a lot, pretty hard to get a 5 good stat weapon. The lack of added flat damage to spells is a big hurt on it tho. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

For dark pact ele to spells doesnt do much for you but introduce problems with relfect. That dagger has all 5 props one wants mana helps too . Granted not highest rolls as you note could use some divine love.
As far as why it's better than divinarus. Way faster shield charging 1.45 vs 1.72 attack speed. Has crit multiplier. You know how it is adding just a couple useful stats makes things cost way more in this game for min maxing ppls. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on Sep 13, 2017, 10:19:22 PM

But for new players isn't all their items worthless until after item level 65 or something? My highest level character is 45 and all I do is is have a bunch of premium tabs which I fill up with rares that are not utter garbage. I rotate filling them up. Then I pay attention to which items receive the most attention. I am sure that I have sold items for less than they are worth but every single one of them was a learning experience and I always got more than if I had vendored it. So, in my mind, win win. Now After top level gear starts showing up I will be a lot more careful. But in my mind wasting so much time fretting over getting the absolute best price on low item leveled gear is time wasted finding new crap to sell.
This is a barter economy... And its only worth what someone is willing to give you when they are willing to give it to you. |

If it was white, it's possible it was worth 200c depending on the base, but no way it was worth 500c lol.
If you're comparing a white base to the same rare base selling for 500c, you're not taking into consideration the stats on the rare. Odds are that it has a sick roll on it. But it's very possible you ripped yourself off because you didn't consider other variables people here mentioned such as the base, and ilvl of the item, but no need to be upset about it. Happens to everyone when they're starting out. It should just teach you to do your due diligence and research the price before listing a good drop. I'm willing to bet you won't let it happen again if another 6l drops for you (lol, been playing 2 leagues and still haven't gotten a 6l armor). |

Base item matters as well. If its a top end base item, it's worth considerably more as a 6L, even with no or junk mods on it. Someone will buy it and play chaos lotto on it.

" Don't get mad. I've probably vendored some items in chaos recipes worth 1ex or more. That was before poe.xyz was a thing though, and selling stuff was considerably harder. I just didn't sell anything but items I knew were 100% guaranteed to be worth something, everything else got vendored. |
