I got price fixed bad ; ( new player warning
" Ok so it was a white item, not blue (magic) or yellow (rare). But, what was the iLevel of your chest? You can have a 6 link that is as low as iLevel 50. And that will be vastly less valuable than one that is iLevel 84. Did you check that when looking at the 50c vs 500c listings? | |
" I don't think you got "price fixed" and I certainly don't think those "ppl above" are part of this huge conspiracy to price fix items, sure price fixers exist and always will do with the current system but at the end of the day the fault still lays on you. |

Rule of thumb - if you list something and immediately get multiple whispers you need to re-do your research as it was probably listed wrong.

He is probably lying. Astral plate with ~130 life and great resistances would be worth around 500 c. And such an armor dropped for him already 6 linked? Lulz

I dont know whats wrong with you noobies. Like day 1 I knew if someone messges me in first minute it set off alarm bell in my head its advertized too cheap. It's like intuitive right? like putting your hand on a hot stove that you shouldnt do that? I then sit back and wait few min and ignore ppl. Then if like 5 more offers come in you really know. If not then "oh was afk" proceed. No price matching even needed even if you never played game before.
I got this sword for 2c cuz some noob didnt know to wait prolly worth 6-10ex so dont feel bad he really screwed himself. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on Sep 12, 2017, 11:58:51 PM

Watch out, there's a bunch of vendors spread around the game who'll only give you a Divine for a white 6 link. Caveat emptor.

The way I see it, op didnt get scammed, he thinks he was :
OP drops a 6 link 6 red armor. It is white, no mods. He sells it for 50c. Someone alchs/chaos it and gets good rolls, item is worth 300-500c suddenly. Op searches poe.trade for rare 6 link 6 red and all he sees are ones with good mods. Comes to forums and complains that he sold a white 6 link instead of trying to craft it. OP missed a chance at more profit by investing into crafting the chest. I wouldn't call it a scam, only missed opportunity, also OP has some trouble with describing the situation all together and says he was "price fixed"?
