I'm not Huy or as good mechanically as he is but I'll try to help.

Haha in Huy's Shaper kill video you never get to see him face the Shaper's bullet hell. For me, you have to be ready with Vaal Haste (and your Onslaught flasks if you run it). Vaal Haste and the Flask are used to get your attack/cast speed up to spam those SRS. Don't be afraid to leave some SRS minions protecting Zana (make sure Orb of Storms is up that area) while you shield charge off screen from Zana to pop the bubbles whilst finding the time to pump out more SRS. Inside Zana's bubble, I like to desecrate the area so that I have corpses to flesh offer.

Admittedly, the tough boss is the Chimera. Not the Chimera itself but the minions that come out of the gate, they pretty much 1 or 2 shot me even with 7.5k+ health.

another question regarding ee, if i throw down orb of storms to apply ee, is it possible the srs will hit first and instead give the boss +50 fire res, or can only the orb of storm trigger ee
minions can't trigger EE
On path of building I am getting higher DPS with the Severed in Sleep than with The Scourge. Why use the scourge over Severed in Sleep?

You need to tick "Have you Hit Recently" in the config (proc via Shield Charge/Orb of Storms) otherwise you lose 70% of damage.

3. With regard to your lightning dmg on the rings to proc EE. I suppose my cold dmg on one of the rings work as well or is there a reason why you use light dmg intead?

1. Yes. I recommended to get life, resist, then if you can afford it, minion damage on the jewels section of the guide. This is the key to be able to switch to so many different setups (esp mf) comfortably.

2. Other types of increased elemental damage/etc affects only you, not the SRS. Only when it explicitly says "minions deal inc damage etc" does it affect srs and skill gems directly linked to SRS. With that said, in the damage setup, SRS deals about 55% cold, 33% fire, and only 12% cold. You can see this breakdown in Path of Building. Check it out for more details~

3. In regards of lightning dmg on the ring to proc EE, it must be lightning damage to make the monster vulnerable to cold and fire (as stated above, most of the srs dmg is cold and fire). You would be messing up the EE (and effectively lowering the damage) of the SRS if you have cold or fire damage elsewhere and shield charge to hit monsters.

4. In the regards to the Shaper, once you fix your setup, it should be able to handle the add phase comfortably without having to swap to melee splash (you could if you want to during that phase). Great build, am having a good time leveling.

My first question has to do with your progression tree leveling. In your 'Lvl60ish' example you drop the 'Precision' node. Is this intentional or an oversight? I am thinking that it may be intentional because of the 'Lycosidae' shield and 'Necromantic Aegis', but I do see that you add it back in on your final tree.

My second question has to do with my next purchase. I am just about to complete the regular content and start mapping. I already have everything I need to continue except for the 'Blood of the Karui' flask with is currently going for around 100c. At the moment I have 80c which would allow me to buy a Bisco's Collar. So my question is, how important is the flask at this stage of the game. Should I buy the Bisco's now and maybe generate a little cash or keep saving for the Karui Flask?

Hello, glad you are enjoying it :).

Ah, with the leveling, I change things up all the time depending on what I needed at the moment, so your experience may vary (i.e. you find different items, etc that may require you have to more dex for example) so you should adjust based on what you encounter.

As for your second question, you may invest in the bisco's collar to farm enough currency for the blood of the karui. It's a good investment ^^~
