Glad you are enjoying the build ^^ come hang out on the stream sometime! Yes, the jewels with everything will be very expensive but I recommended in the guide that you get Jewels with Life and Resists (very cheap) first before you can afford to get those with minion damage. :P

Thanks, I'm glad you are enjoying it. :)

The estimated dps is in the path of building link. (If you haven't yet, try it out. It's one of the best tools for path of exile builds.)

Finally updated the guide!

10.13.2017: In lieu of the spectre patch, I tried them out as a 4L to supplement the SRS.
Long story short, I didn't like it ><. On the bright side, as a side effect, I had some really good jewels lying around so I redid the tree to fit in 3 more jewel sockets. I got about 10% more damage and a small amount of extra life! I also got the elemental weakness curse on hit gloves so I put ball lightning instead of the low level ele weakness on the cast when damage taken setup. Been loving it so far!

*Note that this is all super endgamey, so please stick with the original, regular stuffs if you are still progressing through the build. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up of what I've been up to~ :D

It shouldn't matter what level the Ball Lightning gem is should it?

Edit: Also does the Scourge have to have culling strike on it?

Lv4 Ball Lightning for Lv1 Cast When Damage Taken. Culling strike on Scourge is an endgame nice-to-have kind of thing.

Currently messing around with since I was able to get insane amount of resists off godly jewels ><. It's about 10-15% more damage (over my previous helm) depending on strength setup! This is super yolo tham lam btw >< but at this point just pushing boundaries :D

Flesh offering gets +2 bonus if you place the gem in that helm.

The colors were a bit tough to get but worth it :) (much easier via Huyrici methods).
