[Sao Paulo Gateway] Connection issues - Antel

I'm currently investigating connection issues to the Sao Paulo Gateway based on user reports.

This has been escalated to our Brazil server provider, who should hopefully be able to provide more information soon.

This is currently causing the following symptoms for users that are affected:
  • Latency Spikes
  • Packet Loss
  • Disconnections

It seems to primarily be affecting Antel customers.

If you would like to provide further troubleshooting information, you can run WinMTR on br.login.pathofexile.com and post the results here.

Edit: It's looking like this is more localized within Antel's network and our provider is unable to directly help. It might be worth emailing/raiding this with Antel's tech support to see if they can find out where the problem is being introduced.

Thank you! First time in my gaming life that I see a company actually trying to solve issues, considering we're a small country (Antel is the Uruguay ISP).

Best company to throw money at by far!

Edit: At work right now but when I get home I'll try to post another WinMTR.

Seems we found a clear issue here.

Let us know if we can help with anything else.

T4T
Seen a lot of WinMTR from fellow citizens and the problem seems to be this jump:
po1.fcr01b.sao01.networklayer.com

There is where packet loss is beign introduced and ping skyrockets.
I can't speak from a place of knowledge because I don't know about routes, but that jump belongs to your server providers GGG.
How come? if we take a look at https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-forum/support we see hundreds of threads with the same issue, with more people within each thread saying they have the same problem, people from all around the world, and it is everyone's ISP fault? I mean, Antel is nowhere near a perfect ISP provider, but they are just one ISP, maybe 2 or 3 threads of the hundreds are from Uruguayan fellows. I don't know dude, it may just be everyone's ISP, or everyone's ISP having a hard time with the game servers.

Same problem here. It's impossible to play as it is now.
I had to read twice when I saw Antel. Never thought I'd see another Uruguayan player.
I update my situation, still have ping peaks so far

Updating my situation as well, it hasn't been any better thus far. 200+ latency in towns, 1k+ on other areas, way longer loading screens, and unexpected disconnects (while on loading screens) that I did not have at the start of the week.

BR winMTR https://pastebin.com/tfmr93xU

It also happens if I use WDC gateway https://pastebin.com/SwBujE3f and US (Texas) gateway https://pastebin.com/WCubQJYx

I'm running a wireless connection from Uruguay using ANTEL ISP, but it does seem that we're not the only ones having these problems.
