the home screen method worked.

As soon as you press A to get into Quay press the Home button and than double A to get out of the game and into the home screen as quick as possible. Than wait a minute and you should be into Quay. Might take a couple of tries but it worked for me the first time.

I'm also having this issue on the D.C. Server. I start in act 8 Sarn Encampment head to waypoint to go the the cesspool and then from the cesspool walk to the quay entrance and crash every time I attempt to port in. Xbox One gamertag is MoistSeeker7 if you need more info.

Just wanted to say that the reply some other guy posted here about hitting A to enter into the quay then quickly hittin home button followed by hitting A twice to get you to the home screen quickly then entering back into the game after 30 sec of waiting at home will get you into the quay. I tested this twice and it worked, not sure why but yes it worked....finally

Stupid Questions -

But I am going to ask anyways. I disconnect 90% of the time when using a waypoint or a town portal. It has risen to the point of being unbearable. My inclination is to delete the game and reinstall. But before I do I wanted to get feedback on the following from people who likely no better than me:

1) Does anyone think this will actually help?
- The technical support sticky thread says that these failures are due to corrupted packets, but that wasn't related to Xbox and looks like it hasn't been updated since 2013.

2) My profile/Characters are saved on their server, right?
- I'm guessing this is the case, but figured it didn't hurt to ask before I uninstalled. I assume all my information is stored server side, and thus deleting all game files and reinstalling the game will not cause my characters/progression/gear to be lost. But doesn't hurt to make sure when you're making an assumption.

Same issue here. Stuck leveling in trials until this is fixed. So frustrating!

I deleted the game and then redownloaded and my character was still there just fine. Don't expect it to help you much though with respect to disconnecting. There are some serious issues with the xbox version of the game that GGG needs to address to stop these random disconnections and loads of other bugs. Hopefully it's just a simple matter of more server bandwidth, but my intuition tells me otherwise.

Love the game though. I just wish the majority of these issues were addressed during the beta. Oh well...

So I performed the reinstall and it didn't solve anything. I have two characters I am playing. One is level 80 something and I didn't experience any disconnect issues until I got to the Quay on Act 8. After that, my progress slowed significantly as it took an hour to do a single quest because of the disconnects. I started on a new character, wanting to avoid the whole Part 2 given the disconnects, and began disconnecting constantly on my new character.

Reinstalled, played mostly on the new character, and didn't experience any issues at first, but once I hit Act 3 the disconnects restarted. They're not quite as frequent as before the reinstall, but still altogether too frequent. Using a town portal is out of the question if I legitimately want to use it to go back and get my loot.

Love the game. This needs major fixing and some more active support/communication with the dev team if its going to last on Xbox.

Same thing is happening to myself and a few friends.

It used to happen every so often.. But now in act 8.. Can't load areas. Especially the Quay.


Its like the game just decides to give up on loading when entering the area. And just boots me back to the login screen.


Actually had to stop trying to play last night. :(

Hope its fixed soon. Just got all my friends addicted to this game.. Don't want to lose them..
