[3.7] IcyTank - Ice Crash Facebreaker Tank (400k+ DPS) - EndGame viable

This may seem like a stupid question but were is the attack speed ? I have been using this build for a few levels and finally had to remove a gem and add faster attacks to a slot just to make it to 1.30 aps.

Maybe I am missing something.

The attack speed in this build is very low since you can't improve your base attack speed like any weapon, but it's not a problem since you have a really big damage output in endgame. Instead of killing a rare with 10 hits in 2 seconds, you will kill him with 2-3 hits in 2 seconds.

But I agree it has an impact on the clearspeed, that's why I'm taking more attack speed in the tree than the 3.0 version (while leveling, you will find yourself quite slow, you can play with a faster attack until you get some attack speed on the tree). And you should prioritize % attack speed on your jewels as well :)

Hello,

1) You should get flat physical damage on your rings & amulet, the "elemental damage with attacks" bonus is less important than the "Adds 9-15 physical damage to attacks"

2) Your shield is not adapted to the build. Try to get this shield : https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Great_Old_One%27s_Ward or any other rare shield with % physical damage/% attack damage/attack speed/flat physical damage + life. You can play without the "Herald of ash" gem until you get the right shield with mana reservation

3) Considering your stuff, you probably are really low in HP (< 4000 HP ?) so I assume you are probably dying more than you should with this build.
Get rid of the abyssus helmet for now (it increases the physical damage you are taking), and use https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Deidbellow or https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Deidbell, and get more life on your rings/amulet/boots.

No problem :p

Also, you should play with the gem "Faster attacks support" instead of "Cold penetration support" for now. You deal only 50% of cold damage until you get the jewel "Watcher's eye" with additional damage conversion to cold. The damage output should be slightly better (maybe not on elemental resistant monsters) and more attack speed will give you a better clear speed :)

Just don't forget to switch back to cold penetration when you get the jewel !
This build is tempting me since 3.1. I will play in 3.2 IMO. What do you think of the change of gladiator ?

Added 1% additional Block Chance for each Hit you've Blocked in the past 10 seconds

Counter-attacks are very strong on this build, so double damage on them is a nice buff ! More damage -> more leech -> more survivability :)

And more block is really nice as well, so I'd say its a nice buff to the build, again :)
What's your opinion on Tectonic Strike? Inbetween Enduring Cry and charges on block there is more than enough endurance charges to spend.

Consuming endurance charges is a bad idea, you lose the 10% damage reduction when full endurance charges + the 4% from the charge itself.
I don't recommend it.
