Since we don't need fancy mods you can get a leather belt or preferbly rustic sash quite cheap.

Before anything, I would like to thank you so much AkumaNoTsubasa for creating such a fantastic build. It is fun, surprisingly easy and cheap to get. I blazed through the acts in an insane rate.

I am currently level 67 and finished all the acts and decided to start doing maps and now I get one-shotted by the bosses or any special pack. Kindly have a look at what I have right now and if you could give me any pointers, I would greatly appreciate it.

Screenshots do not help at all.
Either open up your chars (privacy settings) or export your char via path of building

Inbefore going to your screenshots:
Use ALL Gemsetups as I posted them. They are for survivability and damage alike. Having them NOT will drop your performance a lot. Same goes for the tree, make your own tree and drop in performance, unless you know what you are doing.

For your screenshot...

Rule #1 in Path of Exile: HAVE YOUR RESISTANCES CAPPED!
Your Resistances are totally devastating.
Enemies do a LOT of damage, most is elemental.
Example: You have 1000 Life. -10% Fire Resistance. Enemy hits you with 1000 Firedamage.
You take 1100 Damage. You dead!
Example: You have 1000 Life. +75% Fire Resistance (cap). Enemy hits you with 1000 Firedamage.
You take 250 Damage. You live and have 750 Life left.

The rest is just random useless crap. No resistances, as mentioned and no life.
Extra damage stuff is not needed at the start. You can get fully resistances capped and 70+ life on each gear quite cheap. Also, since we use Whirling Blades we do not need any movement speed on our boots and use Kaom's Roots. Your gear is okay for level 40 but not for mapping.

Please read the guide and follow it accordingly and you will see that you will have a much easier time and with that much more fun.

Been loving this build so far, easy to follow, cheap to gear for and perhaps most importantly fun to play. (Lvl 83 - Kirvane)


Currently running t7-t8 maps (When they decide to drop for me...) and blitzing mobs left and right. My gear is still pretty lacklustre too, Haven't got Rumi's or Atziri's promise yet (eventually someone will reply).

Looking for a good pair of Spiked gloves to switch too since Veruso's are half useless to me, though the attack speed buff is nice. Rings and Amulet need sorting but also currently using an unset to level some gems (a 10% Q Sunder, Warchief etc). Ancestral Protector seems to be getting me higher DPS currently but I'm pretty sure that due to it being 3-4 levels higher than Warchief at the moment.

I took a Stone Golem while levelling and he's actually been pretty useful still even if he's just aggro'ing a boss allowing me to just hold RMB without needing to dodge.

My health is on the low end but with better gear and speccing into that huge set of health nodes near Marauder start will help for the next half dozen levels.

This build makes monsters out of men, great work!

Top tier advice is the best way to describe your advice. I capped all resistances and done some tweaking around and I am face tanking everything all the changes costed 4c. going now for tier 5 haha :D Thank you <3

Yup Defense is Rule Number 1 in Path of Exile.

Just reading the last 1-2 pages would have been enough :)
Yes good stat sticks can be much better, but need a quite good mainhand too, to have something they can multiply. Best is to check via Path of Building if the wanted stat stick is better. But mostly 2 values at at least 25% should start to be stronger.
