Ranger - [3.5] Mjölner Untethered 3.5 UPDATE! Mjölner is back! Uberelder+Shaper done - Forum

So I've recently comeback to this game, And I wanted to give this build a go on my Standard character to see if it would be worth setting up. But I need some pointers here, because my attack/cast speed seems to be lower than yours by a pretty large amount and I can't seem to figure out why. My Leech is a bit down aswell from what I can tell, I tested it on Chimera and Phoenix and It was able to handle them pretty well, wasn't able to kill phoenix deathless but I was able to kill Chimera with 1 Portal used. EDIT: I figured out the attack speed thing, But now im noticing my damage is about half of yours. Maybe not even that, Got any tips? If you could look over my Pastebin and give me some pointers for when I start harbinger it would be much appreciated. https://pastebin.com/Vz5FvEf3 If you have any gearing tips aswell, I've got some extra currency in standard left over to play around with before I swap. well depend on what u compare ur build with because some ppl use RF+ arcane surge, that boost greatly the POB dmg. but looking at ur gear/most discharge build..... the big game changer is JEWELS, this is the main source of dmg boost for any discharge build. So u should be looking a GG 4 stats jewels to reach insane dmg. A day w/o dealing with stupid ppl is like....Never mind. I want to get this down pat or atleast a goal in mind when I do start Harbinger. hi, i checked out your build. it's pretty neat already. you can get a lot of dps by using jewels that have at least 2 crit multi rolls on every jewel slot. there is nothing that boosts the dmg as much as crit multi. and we can get a lot of it on jewels. the 30% discharge helmet enchant also gives a lot of extra dps. if you want to do guardians/shaper, make sure to get a well rolled vessel of vinktar with 80-81% inc charges used. this way you can sustain the flask. your shield could be a bit better for more dps ;) the dmg numbers in my PoB link are without things like rf/arcane surge, it's just the realistic numbers. if i'd equip rf+arcance surge into it, it would go up to 684.438dmg per discharge :D Last edited by Sacr0 on Sep 10, 2017, 7:01:24 AM	Posted by Sacr0 on Sep 10, 2017, 6:54:19 AM Quote this Post
Leveling this char is kind of pain in the ass, isn´t it? Maybe i do it wrong, only 1500 life might be the problem ( maybe i chose the wrong sequence of passives to set first? ) Just died 25 times @ doedre at level 54, ouch. From act 6 on it became just painful. Using the bow you suggest for leveling, and a tabula rasa etc. While the dmg is quite okay for leveling, the defense is extremely clunky. Maybe someone got a link for me how in detail to level up a pathfinder? Leveling up a duelist / slayer at least was twice as fast ( at least ). This leveling process currently lets me think about quitting this build before even started - takes 4-5 hours each act this way something must be wrong about your setup. i lvled to lvl 70+ in around 7 hours total. link your gear pls. you are pathfinder. get a granite flask, a diamond flask, a decent ms flask and wise oak early on. another suggestion on this thread was to use blade vortex for lvling.
