What's the pro/con between CI and LL versions?

In very short

CI -> relatively cheap (as you do not need shavrones), limited in aura's/curses i think

LL -> more expensive (see above), however you can use blood magic to have your spells reserve life. Then couple this with the passive that gives more spell damage at low life and you have a pretty awesome character.

CI is probably better for new(er) players and league starters.

apart from this, i think you can quite easily transition from one to the other.

Just my 2 cents, bear in mind i have not played this build (or any ED) before, reason for me responding is that i have invested some time in reading through it al, as i am planning on following this guide.

hi there. noticing in the path of building for 3.5 league start that there isn't NEARLY enough strength to run breath of the council. where are you getting the strength from to run that weapon? for that matter, shield charge at level 20 either.

edit: i also notice that theres not enough dex to run swift affliction past level 7, and temp chains past level 11.

edit 2: i made a corrected version and swapped the weapon out for a normal rare wand. it actually does even more dps. i plan on dropping shield charge for...something...not sure what yet. if you have any suggestions please let me know?

u can get dex and str from items

imo this is the one of the best and solid build for witch. I've used it on 3.4 and i am using it now aswell and i recommend it aswell. he has a video for beginners aswell wich i found it usefull too. Besides all he deservs a huge support for being nşce and very helpfull person. Keep it up man.

Hey, on the 3.5 start note, would it be possible to explain why you've taken Doom Cast? I don't see it adding much to the build. Just a misclick?
