PoE 2 servers are restarting in: .
They should be back up in approximately .I absolutely hate lab and im shit in it
A simple solution to this ARPG is remove the mario traps and yknow, find a REAL ARPG mechanic that fits the game for our sub-classes.

Yep, take it slowly at first on HC and learn what the traps do, how they're built.
Worst thing to do is accidentaly run on a sawblade, panic, turn around and run along on that sawblade. Just keep moving one way or in an emergency stop and learn to keep cool, never turn around and go back the way you came or run in circles (at least for me). My worst fear are poison darts in combination with roombas or spinning pillars. Don't get slowed while walking through a trap >.< Also don't listen to people like MeechKahn. |

" They've done that in 2.6 as well, actuall as far as I remember since the lab was introduced. Besides that, love the lab :). But died on it on HC as well (actually in a trial). Reason: Panicked. Doesn't usually happen to me that way on SC. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

I quit playing HC, my preferred style of play, when the Lab was added. Now I suck at playing so much that HC play will never be an option again. The advice "practice in SC" is a two edge sword. Don't "practice" dying. Don't develop bad habits. It will take a major re-write of my skill set to ever play HC again.

I understand OP. While I can struggle through them, they are easily and without question my least favorite part of the game. When I was considering coming back to the game before 3.0 released, Labs where the primary reason I almost decided not to.

" Another trick, besides the obvious take deep breaths and relax is to bind your "attack in place" to like spacebar or something and have a leap slam/flame dash combo with you. Use "attack in place" and time your movement skills to traverse easy traps like roomba's and those chainsaws in the ground, or get over edges in trap area's. You can also count the seconds of trap behavior, like how many seconds for every spike interval or roomba passing you. All traps are basically timed events that guarantee a certain way to pass them if you follow their patterns. Really the best thing to do, is to keep cool and take in the information that's presented to you. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

At least from reading the forums it does seem like most of the playerbase hates the lab. At this point I bet if GGG could go back they wouldn't have put it in the game. However, what's the use in complaining now? They're not just going to remove such a major game feature that's been in there for over a year. The paste is out of the tube, so to speak.

I've died more times to Izaro than I have traps.
The only thing I hate about lab is losing an hour of my time in full runs when I die to some dumb shit. I think most of this playerbase just wants everything to funnel into the map playloop endlessly, forever. Run easy maps you clear in three minutes -> get gear and levels -> repeat forever. Looking at the game like that, of course lab is aberrant. Anything that's not as rushed as possible would look like complete shit-garbage. Ancient and unwise, SSF only since 2012
