You won't get one. It'll get fixed when it gets fixed and you'll know that when it is in the patch notes.
GGG never says when something is going to be fixed, because if they miss that deadline, it causes an even bigger shit storm. No extra option to talk to eramir before visiting all the bandits again, he gets an exclamation mark after killing them all or choosing to help the same one, but i never get to see any "books". Please look into this
