Group play needs to be harder
The disparity between difficulty of solo vs group is too big, this is not even including how drop rates are better in group games. Solo-ing is pretty challenging but once you group up its stupid easy and everyone is just rofl stomping maps in groups...anyone feels the same?

Plus, they pay a million faeries with psychic links to the devs to monitor the forums, so OBVIOUSLY any time ANY post is made about something that someone wants the devs to see and the devs don't respond when the faeries psychically inform them of the post, the devs are just ignoring the post and don't care. I don't care what they do to balance solo vs. group play. They the devs so they figure out how.
All I am saying is that the group vs solo imbalance has been a major topic and most players have seemed to agree that group play is significantly easier, but GGG doesn't really seem to care too much about the issue - probably because a solution is too complicated or could mess up other things so they just leave it alone. | |

Unless you have an actual statement from GGG stating "we don't care, we're going to leave it alone" then the best "evidence" you could have is a lack of action on their part, which is WEAK at best. I'd personally lean more towards "fixing other shit has been higher priority" over your conclusion given a lack of action as the only "evidence". Well if they do something about it then I will be wrong.

Which is a bigger game killer right now? 1. Solo play versus group play. 2. Desync Which one do you think they're focused more on. When open beta hit there were immediate server stability issues due to load they had to fix, and they fixed them. Now there are desync issues which affect ALL types of play, be it solo or group. If YOU were in charge of producing PoE and YOU got to chose where your employees worked on and where your money was spent, which do YOU think would be a good one of the two above to fix, if you only had the money/programmers to fix one? Desync obviously.
So they are ignoring the group vs solo?? Basically what I have said from the start.....they are ignoring the problem they know that exists because the solution would be too complicated / take too many resources. |
