" NO. You would never sustain any workout at 170+ bpm. That would be like a HIIT burst, and you'd rest for 60 seconds, then do it again for 30-60 seconds. Yes, i exaggerated the 80, I suppose it might be more like 100 - 110, depending on what I'm doing. I rarely do HIIT. I am more a body weight calisthenics guy (so actually, i'm not USAIN bolt at all, as I rarely run). 55 is not crazy low for resting heart. But also realize that I do not eat/drink any 'junk food' (meaning i have a low sodium/sugar diet) and rarely eat red meat. I eat lots of fruits, nuts, and veggies, and drink a lot of water. " A resting rate of 28 is NOT necessarily healthy. There's a point where you over-train your heart at pumping efficiently, and athletes like to brag about these resting heart rates, however they often end up needing pacemakers as they age. Source: https://www.sciencenews.org/blog/scicurious/slow-heartbeat-athletes-not-so-funny My resting heart rate is around 72-74. My cardio rate is around 160. I'm 42. I used to exercise a lot more frequently than I do recently. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒░░░░░░░░░░░░░ cipher_nemo ░░░░░░░░░░░░░▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Last edited by cipher_nemo#6436 on Jun 29, 2017, 3:32:19 PM

Someday one of these streamer (or other nolifer) guys will RIP IRL from overdoing the gaming and underdoing nutrition and exercise.
Games like PoE promote and reward very unhealthy behavior |

" I never said it was. I said it was amazing, as in "amazingly low". It's no secret that more and more athletes falls over on the training ground. There is absolutely a point where you are pushing your body too far. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

" Maybe if you're fat or horrendously out of shape. I run 3 miles a day and my running heart rate these days doesn't hit 160 |
