Colonel Willian from the 5th brigade was a paladin. In a world where mankind is treated as a plague by the other races, he vowed to protect humans. for this purpose he joined the human army of the only human Empire. The empire was commanded by a man named krelian, who was known by having defeated a colossus and rid the human lands from the other races. He was also known for have lived for 600 years already.
During the war against the dwarves, willian discovered that there was a man who was helping the dwarves with technology. general Tulius commanded willian and other 5 of his best man to find and bring this man alive. A certain day willian and his friends went to a human fortress out of the empire commanded by colonel Blight, a man Willian hated much because he was a tyrant. when arriving in the city Willian noticed that Humans were slavering elves, raping the elves woman and saw many stakes with heads, of all races. That was too desgusting for william, because even protecting mankind, he was a man who believed you should do what is right.
He stormed throught Blights office and blamed him for being unhuman. Blight Laughed at him and harassed him for being too good. with his blood boiling Willian proposed a duel against blight. What willian didnt know is that blight was not just the horrible man he was, he somehow has got a monstrous strenght, and defeated willian pretty fast, almost killed him when General Armand appeared and didnt let 2 colonels to kill thenselves.
Amazed by the strengh of blight, one of Willians companion, taldanor, a great sorcerer, suspected of a devils pact, and pronounced that to the general. Armand told that if they could prove that blight was in a pact he would destitute him from his command and jail him. taldanor and Geist, the group scout, investigated and discovered that he was really under a devils pact. After being arrested Blight smiled and looking at willian he said: "I know where your fiance lives. You will lose everything u have Willian". Those words were so serious, and willian had tasted Blights Power so he knew what he could do. They deserted theyr mission and fast traveled back to the empire, where they discovered the ship with blight never showed up.
When willian and his friends arrived at his fiance house, there wsa blood everywhere. but his fiance was still alive, in blights grasp. After an Epic battle against such an evil, taldanor used all of his power so willian could battle as equal with blight, but that took his life. geist was unconcious and at the end there was just Blight and Willian. The battle was swift but it seemed like hours to both warriors, theyr muscles exploded with anger and the fight consumed all the strenght of both, at the end Willian craved his bastard sword through Blights heart, and died after the magical powers given by his friend vanished.
For love he died, and for righteosness he lived, good friends walked with him and mankind lost a great warrior today...
