Great claw, but way too pricey for a beginner. Tbh I don't even have a HoWA, never wanted to use it. What weapons are you using? What level are your skill gems? You may want to spec out of some defensive nodes and take some deeps in the claw clusters if you're having trouble.

Wild strike > 16
Elemental Damage with attacks > 16
Faster attacks > 16
MS > 14

Herald of ash 15 qual 18%

MH Claw
+40 life
adds 28-60 cold
20% inc AS
14% Global crit multi
+74 accur
PHY 24-64
ELE 28-60
APS 1.92

Off hand Claw
40 life per hit
7-95 light
14% inc AS
28% global crit multi
18% inc stun duration (useless i know)

Your gems are fine. Those claws are decent but depending on your level, you could get much better. Increased Physical Damage are most important, and if you are rolling mods of that tier then you can find some with much more phys damage easily.

Since this build is for 3.0 should probably change the bandit choices. Also I have been running queen of the forest/atziri step/Starkonja's Head. Works fairly well, although no claw seems to slot nicely into this build since it relies on damage on hit and not leech.
Looks good, trying now! But in the passive tree, is it not better to not take the +10 str/+10 dex node north of vaal pact, and instead connect the tree through the dex node under fang of the viper? Will give you net 1 point you can put somewhere else.
